546 votes is actually, 206 real votes.

Of the 206 legitimate votes, there were 57 (27.7%) with burn-in problems.

However, on a brand by brand, the results of displays that DO have burn-in problems are as follows

Panasonic (4 of 48) – 8.3%

Hitachi (2 of 24) – 8.3%

Phillips (1 of 5) - 20.0%

Fujitsu (5 of 24) – 20.8%

NEC (5 of 16) – 31.3%

LG (7 of 22) – 31.8%

Samsung (1 of 3) - 33.3%

Sony (4 of 10) - 40.0%

Pioneer (11 of 27) – 40.7%

TEAC (5 of 12) – 41.7%

JB Hi Fi (3 of 5) - 60.0%

Important Note: Figures are gradually improving for some of the plasma's above. I suspect the burn in problems relate to older gen plasmas!?

FYI the NEC is wrong, should be 29.4%. The rest is right, I checked :blink:

Yea, I miss-spelled January too. Just checking to see of you guys are on your toes. I have it all in a spreadsheet so the NEC figure was a slip of the finger.

Update on the Pio 436, just for you Lyle:

No retention of any of the ridiculously huge NZ FTA TV watermarks, thank god!! :D

Wouldn't that drive you to tears? Retention of an NZ logo from an analogue broadcast!! :P:blink::P

CRTs and LCDs also suffer from burn in too if left on a static image for long enough. Why is this survey only focused on Plasma??
Because that was the interest of the author! :blink:
