I had to pay the big bucks today for Neil Young Harvest, Australian pressing, in 24ct gold, $11 Manufactured & Distributed by Warner Music Australia. Glass mastered by SRC. Not on Discogs yet. After that, the local release was only available. This was before Metallica it the big leagues. Anyone know anything about it? Sorry it's flipped the wrong way. This disc has the 2 tracks even though it says differently. Yes i have the 35DP 4 disc. Its the exact same mastering for a lot less than mine. Regarding WYWH on Steve Hoffman forum they seem to be about 50/50 on which they prefer. But like the Joshua Tree you sent to me when its a good mastering its hard to notice the difference to me. I started collecting them mid 80s...are they like LPs and worth pulling out and selling on SNA? I kept a lot of tapes too - are they worth anything to anyone? JPete9 Posted June 2, 2015 Share Posted June 2, 2015 (edited) I found one small box in the study with Billy brag, Elliot Smith, Arlo Guthrie, Ween, Muse, Black Eyed Susans, Emiliana - i dont recall ever buying them...aint my type of stuff...must be the wifes...or maybe a previous GF...theyre going! I tossed a lot of tapes, straight to the tip when we moved last time. Got about 25 left...not all complete, but a couple of classics, like Number of the Beast and some queen and beatles are all complete.
