That dust was your chrome rocker covers disintigrating when you hit your nitrous button.

Farout that was you. Came right through the windscreen and ALMOST hit me fluffy dice hanging on the rear vision mirror !

I always keep a spare set of fluffy dice in the glove box for just such an occasion

Dude

Just leave it on sometimes is may take 5 minutes to turn off cooling itself down but it will turn off

Just tried that - waited 10 minutes and still not turned off.

It might be a matter of getting them in sync

I am not or have not hd this issue but i really dont think its a problem

I used to have the sync/state problems too, but I now have a rememdy that works...

Whenever you turn on or off both devices simultaneously, press and hold the red power button on the AUSID remote for a full second while aiming it at the Fuji panel's IR receiver. It now works 100% of the time for me.

Is there a reason for me not to believe the asuid can be left on 24/7?

My main hope is that these guys put in a very good fan.

Yeah, i had the sife make the well known comment of "I just want to be able to watch tv". It's a bit hard for her to turn on 3 pieces of equipment. So with the ausid on all the time, it's just the plasma and amp now.

Why can't these things be voice operated yet?

OK, I've just gone through this entire thread but no one seems to have tried the AUSID with a CRT front projector. I'm wondering it is worth getting one of these for my NEC XG-75 as that is my only HD display? (I'd use the sVideo for the telly)

Don't worry if it's too much trouble Glenn. I think I blew the AV budget on the Supernet PVR I won on eBay :P. The wife has become less accomodating since the kid arrived and I'm rarely watching the PJ anyway.

Maybe I'llbe back in the market in a couple of years......

I have just set up a 50" fuji with the Ausid box. it is a good combo but no learning remotes do RF and the ir sender is proving hard to get. But the best thing i have just found is the new apple imac mini computer. It has DVI output that looks great on the plasma. Chuck all your CD's onto itunes and you have a music jukebox. You can also have internet access on your plasma. At only $799 - $949 these things are the best gadget you can possibly get for you plasma
