No Regrets 82
5 hours ago, Luc said: Hey Welcome Don! You know how there are spelling pedants across the web, I'm the metric version of them😜 So for people who don't know the antiquated measuring system still in use in the USA here's Don's measurements in metric and being Dunlevy speakers they are gonna be YUGE! Lol. My speakers are Dunlavy SCIV's Signatures. They have been my most favourite speaker of all time. They are 1.8m tall, 300mm wide and 450mm deep. They weigh 81 and a bit kg's each. Lovely system Don and the cello ...wow! Fantastic. Cheers mate.(mate=bud) Hello Luc, Thank you so much for the warm welcome and the helpful conversion with the measurements of my speakers! I truly appreciate your wonderful compliments too The cello is one of my most favorite instruments. It is a Montagnana design with a beautifully rich, full bodied resonating sound. I will try and post a couple pictures of it more close up... sadly the pictures do not capture the true beauty that it has though. Thank you again and wishing you all the very best! Now waiting for Ikeda Mono Cartridge arrive 😅 I'm curious as to why is the end of the protractor nearest the arm is lifted off the platter by a few mm? It seems to me you have made the length of the spike going down from the end of the protractor to the pivot point, a bit too long? Andy

Andy Thanks Andy, Good point 😅 First Protractor not in level, and the Metal point direct into central arm a bit high.... But ok all of this adjust easy... I drill the arm hole little bit bigger which can have room to move . Very high quality Professional Japanese Plinth

rossb 1,336
Some more Rega fun. Thanks to Steve at Magna Audio in the UK for putting this armpod together. It is lead filled and weighs about 4kg. It has adjustable feet with about 5mm up/down movement for VTA adjustment, and ebony armboards for both Rega and Linn mount arms. The original plan was for a mono cartridge, but my Cadenza mono is now on the P8 so I will use this arm for some different cartridges.
