Plasma burn

Hi just a question dose anybody know if you can get plasma burn of the the sceen once its been done.Ive seen some cheap plasma around that have some burn lines on sceen but was wondering if thay can come out with time or if there was some thing you can do to get rid of it,Or is that it there there for ever

My understanding is, once it is there, it is there forever. It uses phospher and the same problem occurs in CRT tv & projectors when you display a static image for a long time.

Ok thats what i was sort of thinking i saw cheap pioneer plasma on ebay with burn issues but i think its prob not worth looking at it ,Thay say its not very bad and you cant hardy see it but thay got no pictures of how bad it is so unless i see it i wont bother,Its a shame its 50 inch Pioneer and starting at only $900 no bids yet
