kroozzy
Item: KLIPSCH KG 5.2 SPEAKERS Location: GEELONGPrice: $980Item Condition: DRIVERS 9.5/10 - CABINETS 8/10Reason for selling: sitting idle and in the wayPayment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, COD OnlyExtra Info: KLIPSCH KG 5.2 SPEAKERS Please see the link to a video I have Recorded and Posted on YouTube today that demonstrates the Klipsch KG 5.2 . https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=escReeVSjmg&t=12s This pair of KLIPSCH KG 5.2 SPEAKERS are in Great Condition and are the Flag Ship Speaker of the Klipsch .2 range – see piks The cabinet veneers are not peeling at any location and there is no moisture damage as they have been kept inside. There are the usual ‘scuffs’ and ‘marks’ associated with speakers of this Vintage, however in saying so, they are in Great Condition. Driver wise, all the Drivers are, lets say, Excellent Condition. The compression drivers have had the diaphragms replaced by myself a few years ago. They were purchased from Bob Crites (USA). The passive 12 inch woofer has had weight rings attached to them, they say it increases bass. I have not opened them up in years, though for memory I used metal washers approximately 20 cent piece size as the weights. These Klipsch Speakers really do perform, I forgot just how well as I have not listened to them for over 4 years. Kinda thinking should I sell them, lol. But they must go, they have sat inside in idle for years, and most probably have gained the scuffs they have due to being ‘in the way’. They do have the Cover Grilles with Original Klipsch Badges, which are in Great Condition. One top left grille plug has broken off and is set in the speaker. This ‘can be’ taken out and re-attached with a screw, something I have not got around to. The grilles have 6 plugs each, so the one broken off does not have any negative impact at all.
