Bought this Dac in February from an esteemd SNA'er who looks after his gear. Note this is the later updated version that accepts up to 24/96 via usb. I have seen the earlier version (only up to 48khz via usb) go for more $$ here. This is a great sounding DAC, everything upsampled to 192khz, and was a huge step up from my earlier unit. I used as a dac for hi-res PC files via SPDIF which accepted up to 192khz files, as well as with a Primare DP via AES. I have set condition at 8/10 on account of a small mark on the front which I only noticed after I checked the pics. This will probably wipe off with the right cleaning solution. I will also throw in a Aurealis 110 Ohm AES/EBU Digital Cable with Vampire XLRs purchased new ($RRP around $70 shipped) from Aurealis Audio for $30. No box for dac.
1x XLR AES balanced digital input 1x RCA coaxial connector SPDIF 32-192 kbps (16-24 bit stereo PCM) 1x TOSLINK optical connector 32-96 kbps (16-24 bit stereo PCM) 1x USB type ‘B’ connector for computer/PDA - 16-24 bits, 32-96 kbps (Determined by source file/computer settings)
Item: Primare I22 integrated Amp with optional DAC board
Location: Sydney CBD, NSW
Item Condition: Presents as in new condition - not a scratch. Has never had anything stacked on top of it. The remote control has only minor signs of wear. Smoke and pet free home.
Reason for selling: No longer used.
Payment Method: PayPal, Cash - Pickup, or Australia Post COD.
Extra Info: Bought brand new directly from Australian dealer in 2014. I am the first owner. Comes with original box, cables and user guide.
Official specs rate the output at 2 x 80/160W but these figures are highly conservative. Stereo Prestige & Image magazine revealed that actual output at 8Ω is 2 x 105W (both peak and sustained). I found it to be surprisingly capable driving my B&W CM9 S2 speakers with ease.
