Extra Info:

Calling all Audeze LCD2/LCD3 owners ( Specially for Fazor version), this professional handmade tube headphone amp with pre-amp function which is gold match with LCD2 or LCD3 headphone. If you are not quite satisfied with your LCD2/3 sound, grab this headphone amp and try it out. I can guarantee that you won’t be disappointed. If you are beyerdynamic T1 user, you will also be surprised how good sound it delivers to you.

For your confidence, I am more than happy to provide full refund if you think it’s could not meet your expectation after 3 days received this amp. ( No question asks, but for Audeze LCD2/3 users ONLY) To be fair, I will responsible for sending postage and you may need to pay the return postage. But I couldn’t image it will happen as I bet you will love this “ dark, thick, analogue” sound for sure

It’s designed on basis of woo audio WA22 but sounds better, use quad EF80/EF800 and two 6080 tubes.  I have upgraded tubes to quad TELEFUNKEN EF800 and matched Chatham 6336 TUBES ( both around 300 hours use ), I will also throw in quad Valvo EF80 and quad TELEFUNKEN EF80, you can try them out compared to EF800.

It’s 240v version which was designed for Australia power voltage output, it’s also built in pre-amp function which does a real good job too, I used to use it connect to Stax 727a ( got feedback mod) , this pre-amp makes STAX 009 sounds unreal.

The reason for selling it just because I recently purchased FOSTEX HP-V8, it does have more power for my focal utopia headphone considering its price and using both 300B and KT-88 tubes.  However, for LCD3, their performance are pretty similar. Since now utopia is my most often used headphone, so sadly to see it go.

Hi - I may be sounding stupid with this question: with the Stax 009s are you feeding your signal into this amp and then out to your 727A??

My current viva 845 ($19k ) with we422a , rca 845 tubes won’t beat this amp for lcd3f , but of course much better on abyss phi and susvana as they are so hard to drive

I purchased this dac/amp to use with my Beyerdynamic DT990 but I'm heading back towards IEMs.  The blue LED power light no longer works but fully functional otherwise.  The sound is quite mature and detailed, has a nice vibe , separation, layering and soundstage are all impressive for its price point.  You can tube roll if you like (included tube is Electro Harmonics) it uses dual Wolfson DACs, the RCA  on the back doubles as an input/output when no USB cable is plugged in so you can use the unit as a DAC or stand alone headphone amp.

Included is the dac/amp, power supply and USB cable.

      Specs:

      Aluminum chassis Dual Wolfson WM8470 DAC chips XMOS USB chip Supports up to 192 kHz/24-bit playback Asynchronous USB 2.0 transmission 12AU7 tube Transistors for class-A buffer Supports ASIO, KS, and WASAPI modes Inputs: USB 2.0, RCA (L, R) Output: ¼ in (6.3 mm) headphone jack, RCA (L, R) Operating voltage: DC 12 V Frequency response: AMP 10 Hz – 100 kHz +/- 0.5 dB; USB 20 Hz – 20 kHz +/- 0.5 dB USB sample rate: 16 – 24 bit; 44.1, 48, 88.2, 96, 176.4, 192 kHz Distortion: 0.03% (1 kHz) Output power: 2100 mW (32-ohm load) Gain: +6 / +17 dB Crosstalk: 110 dB Impedance: 16 – 600 ohm Dimensions: 5.5 x 3.2 x 3.2 in (14 x 8 x 8.2 cm) Weight: 14.5 oz (410 g)
