Thought I'd answer a few questions publicly that I've been asked...

Q: Will you accept trade-ins?

A: Yes

Q: Do they require a big powerful amplifier?

A: Not really, whilst they can handle 800W, they are 87dB efficient so 100W or so will be fine for the majority of listening levels. They are an easy load, 6 ohms nominal with a 4 ohm minimum.

Q: Where can I hear them?

A: In VIC, 3106

Q: Do they come with the front grilles?

A: Yes, they weren't attached for the above photo but we have them.

Q: Can you paint them black for me?

A: No :)

@AudioAddict - the new place would fit these....

Indeed they would. But SWMBO didn't like the look when I considered them initially prior to "settling" for Marten Bird 2's. Also it would probably require a change of amp and I'm happy with the 50 watts I've got.

There is a reason why the paint job on the speakers ups the price by $6k. You could probably paint them any colour you want, but expect to have to pay big $$$ to get it done properly.

Item: Pair of Vivid audio B1 speakers
      Location: Perth
      Price:  RRP - $20,500 Sale price - $12,000
      Item Condition: Excellent
Reason for selling: Down sizing to smaller home - no room for speakers!
Payment Method: Bank transfer or paypal
      Extra info:

I dont have the original crates that these came in so local sale is easier however im more than happy to have a packing company properly package these for interstate travel. Due to the price i will organise everything for freight but it will be at the buyers cost.

Also dont have the original manual - but it does come with the original spikes.

These speakers are about 1.5 years old and have a maximum of 150 hours on them. They are collecting dust at the moment and the place i live is going up for sale and the new house will not have sufficient space. You wont find a better bargain if you have been looking to get a pair of these in your room.

One of the tweeters has been replaced due to a tape measure accident but beyond that everything is good.

If anyone would like more photos please just let me know and i can snap anything you need.
