Item:  Atma-Sphere MA-1 MK11.3 Silver Edition Monoblock Tube Amplifiers BARGAIN

Item Condition: 
The Silver Editions are dressed in polished steel, which as with any product with this finish, exhibits swirl marks. The Stainless steel faceplate that has the switches and lights on has some smearing. There are no significant scratches in the polished finish. The transformer covers have no scratches. I have given a 8 out of 10 rating.
Reason for selling: My Reason for selling is that I am 70 and we now need to move to a much smaller home, Hence also for sale are my Massive Genesis 1 Speakers also FS on this forum

Selling as a pair of Mono Blocks Amplifiers complete with a brand new full set of replacement Tubes as pictured in the photos.

These are world-class amps, providing the ultimate in transparency from an OTL design.

I purchased these from new.

It’s really hard for me to part with these wonderful pieces of AV gear but I will not have space for my home theater any longer so I have to let them go ASAP.

You know I heard these in Perth many years ago, I am wondering if this is the same pair 

incredible clarity, musicality

i remember listening to Carmen , and thinking it's sounded like you were there

 

i was tempted then and now, but Canberra is long way for such big amps to send

 

great amps

These would not be the same pair as I purchased these Direct from Atma-Sphere direct and never ever looked back or thought about any other amplifiers. As you say, Incredible clarity & musicality.

Well these came from America with the tubes fully loaded which surprised me but Ralph (Atma CEO) assured me they would be fine and they was.

Guess its not the distance, but the handling that's important. 

Where did you hear them in Perth I wonder?.

They were loaned to me by Simplyhifi from the importer who lived in Australind

 

i had them at home for a few days in my own system

 

although there are a lot of tubes my memory was not that they were ridiculously hot each tube only produces 15 to 20 watts class a

Yeah I'd imagine tubes would have a pretty easy life amongst their friends in these amps - no stress!

There was a pair of M60s (I think was the model) on Ebay by a chap who lived in Jindabyne of all places a few years ago. I thought this might have been that pair, appears that it is not. So there is another pair or similar in Australia.
