Recently purchased an Oppo 105D, so my Oppo 95 is up for sale. I purchased the BDP-95 from another SNA member in 2013 for AV duties and some audio. The unit is primarily used for playing video files and some blu - rays. I also spin CD / SACDs on the Oppo, but as I play vinyl 95% of the time it’s had very little use as a disc player. The unit also has a region free mod installed, however I've never been able to get it to work and it appears to have been disabled via a firmware upgrade. The unit has never skipped a beat and is kept in a smoke and pet – free environment. For those not familiar with the Oppo 95, it is an excellent jack of all trades player, and is able to handle many formats including Blu-ray, DVD, SACD, DVD-Audio, HDCD, CD, Kodak Picture CD, DivX, DivX plus HD. These players are also lauded for their audio quality and include two ESS Sabre DAC (ES9018) 32-bit audio digital-to-analog converters with jitter reduction.
