Would love to have three turntables like that. What are they if you don't mind me asking?

I think the two wooden ones are vintage Pioneer Exclusive P10 and P3 ??

Having multiple tables is great for flexibility.

 Cheers Marty thanks

Only acquired these last weekend (in an abandoned room at a Mates place, not used for 10 + years) and have to say you are right, impressed my socks off,  full range electrostatic panel, the bass clarity (+ entire frequency range) is addictive and literally like nothing else I have heard. 100w per channel from a brand new (commissioned Wednesday night) Holton 050 desk top amp powers them beautifully. Have tried 3 amps, a 250w x 2, a 50w x 2 and finally the 100w x 2 is where these are happy.

Weakness is general party SPL ability and lack of impact,,, the big PSE144 and 6 x 18" driver rig behind the CLS's provides plenty of that and will come to sing on it's day.

CLS's are now the daily driver, just lovely things.

Have a good day :)

I remember first hearing a pair of CLS's at one of the Sydney HiFi Shows on Military Road back in 85 or 86. They were being Demo'ed in a Stairwell (Would you believe, No other room left.) and I thought, "That sounds really promising". Not a fan of Hybrids and the CLS's are a real Classic.

Back to the couch this morning.

Crappy day outside , it's so grey and wet.

The bride is out being active doing a half iron man thing down the road.

So I removed some covers put on a Dire Straits LP and sitting back with a coffee.IMG_2008.JPG

Very compromised location, but plans are afoot to change that. Nevetheless things actually sound quite good in here.

Music to cook pancakes to this morning!40f1c957de0d3e3693ebb0faab79adbe.jpg

Beautiful systems guys, but you know what I like more than beautiful systems, mean looking systems, and there certainly are some here.
