put the little one to bed and rest of the kids are at other kids parties.

Got the NotePerfect Maxi’s back after a over a year.

Tidal streaming. There is a purity in the mids with small speakers that my big speakers just don’t have. Maybe it because it’s not as deep so i hear more in the mids?

Perhaps the bookshelf speakers are much better positioned than the floorstanders being close to the wall and with a large cabinet slotted between them?

I think you could be right. I just removed the large speakers and placed the smaller speakers in it's place and the sound changed. I have to move these speakers closer to the wall so kids have a bit more room to play.

I think these were also designed for near field listenings well. they do sound better sitting closer to listening position.

was looking for an easy solution for CD storage, and spotted these on FB Marketplace. Offered $12 for 9 of them and the offer was accepted (the asking price was $2 each or OFFER).

Each unit holds 60 CDs (4 vertical columns of 15) and can be stacked or wall-mounted with 2 screws.

Construction is (as expected for the price) thin pine-board wrapped in black vinyl (starting to peel in spots), with plastic inserts for the disc storage.

Still good value for the money. Now to get around to alphabetising (unless a better suggestion can be made)?

Hi Les, looks like you’ve got it sorted but these items from IKEA (of the famous Kallax record and hi-fi component shelving) are versatile and handle double albums (we have 4 and stack 2 x2). You can also display a bit of CD album art.
Cheers

I know. Rug will be used for critical sessions only. I think my phono stage was mishandled during the move as the right channel is borked :(

The system is really loving the extra space, music flows through my home like never before. Life is good !

Thanks. Quite helpful information. Do you know if this model is still made? I could not find it online.

Hi Les, we purchased them about 8 years ago, my wife had a look online as well but can’t see them anymore, so not sure if they are still available. Cheers

Clever storage......Wider lower cupboard versions for LP's using the same 'door artwork display' concept would be great!👍

My only addition in nearly 6 months... for when tempted by an imperfect mastering to adjust speaker toe-in etc.

Beyond happy... but a fortune spent on LPs in that time period!

Air guitar.

A friends was competing overseas in the wold air guitar championships when his air guitar was stolen at the airport. He borrowed his mates air guitar, won the championship and it wasn’t even properly tuned.

Pretty much the same image I have previously posted, except I had light bulb moment, well for me anyway. For months I’ve been trying to work out how to better seperate my interconnects  and power cables, then I realised all the equipment has the power input on the right side, moved the PS Audio P10 regenerator from the left to the right side, bingo, power cables out of the way of the interconnects.
