Horn and woofer. Probably highly efficient.

The panels are a necessity because without them, the image is dragged to the right speaker. There's a strong null to the left where there's a floor-ceiling glass window.

I've been wondering if I should go back to 2 channel only with my full Cyrus system. Currently I'm using 8-9 boxes for a 7.0 system. Going two channel will see me halving that number. How do you find things as they're shown?

They are like the shelves on their racks but heavier duty, Stuart pretty much machined them extra large to hold the speakers. 28 minutes ago, Telecine said: Flood proof on those outriggers. 😆, luckily they were already on spikes so no water issues.
Ray H 784
I would be very interested to know broad specs and rough price @joz The only interesting part is the Speakon on top of the cabinet.

I’ve just had all my sub drivers replaced and upspecced due to a wee accident.. Also had the outriggers added. Those boxes are the bottom subsections of my towers. the speakon is to connect to the box above. As for specs and costs better to speak to @SGR Audio

anandpkumar 507
Same setup as before, but moved the speakers and furniture around a bit. Bunno77 1,528
Sorry for the blurry pic but this was a pretty cool experiment. I hired some JBL PRX825W powered PA speakers to see how dual 15inch drivers and a compression driver/horn would go in my space. It was surprising how good it sounded at low levels though there was a fair bit of audible hiss at a bit over 3m. I did a quick measurement on REW and the same as my main speakers there was a big dip around 60hz on the right speaker and the only way with the JBLs to smooth that out was to sit about 2-2.5m from the speaker which isn't ideal for the space. Anyways was a heap of fun, pretty cheap and I would encourage others to try hiring similar if so inclined.

If up on stage or whatever you would be too far back to hear the hiss. Not in a smaller room though.

Not an issue in their intended use and while listening to music I couldn't hear it either. Edited March 1 by Bunno77 add

anewmission 169
Abit of a mix at the moment. Mainly using sonus faber's but still love listening to rock through the ns10m's. Only thing I have heard better for rock is the gale 401 series.. still yet to buy a pair. The sonus faber's are very smooth. I'm using a yamaha p2200 power amp from the late 70s. 11
