Not a big room. its 6m x 9m x 2.74m

Speakers are not worth mentioning as probably too low end here. When the new replacement arrive, i will let you know.

Thanks...Nice 'small' room

Surprisingly, some of the best sound I have heard is from 'lower end' speakers ?

In all honesty, I listened to @QuackQuack setup, I think that is him?, I went away mesmerised... on my way back thought of if i could go home, file a divorce, selling my organs, and spend all my kids education for next 18 years to upgrade the Magico M6s.

Correction. I dont think it was @QuackQuack. Any way..., he kept changing his avatar nick..., hard to keep up.

He was using Magico M3s with Halco DM38 monos, and Esoteric flagship front end. I think one of his co-axial cable between transporter to DAC is like $10K for 1m in lenght.

That is pure porn...I had movement?

Cannot be sure...but looks like a near-field set-up

I kept telling him, move them to my room for much better appreciation. He had refused the idea...., due to travel distance of 11Km.

Nice set up Chanh. I notice your source is located away from your power amps. Curious what cables run from source components to amps and how long are the runs?

Thanks @Lazz
I found, with electronic stacking behind speakers, not only been distracting, it infers the soundstage. This findings coincided to what I observed from those dedicated ultra-highend audio Setups I had the privilege listened to. Of course, is very subjective to my very personal taste/capability. Others may observed differently. Pls don’t quote me on this.....

As for the interconnect, I am biased to Accuphase super-refined BROWN cable. It’s 7.5m in length and ASDL Type (Full balanced). These cables synergies well in my setup as best $ vs SQ delivery. Of course, there are better ones but my CFO won’t approve the investment. ?

FYI, with this room, I am very critical about the quality of power supply. Therefore, at very stage of my electronics, whether a source, CA, phono, preamps or poweramps, each has it own dedicated circuit, consisted of 4mm wiring and with its own RCD. The main power cable to this room was conservatively sized to 26mm in diameter, directly from the main switch. This room has a sub-board with many RCDs, including two RCDs for internal splits Aircond and the wine cellar. General lightings is on separated circuit and so is the general GPOs within.

Again, I found the quality of power supply/source has significantly influenced the final SQ......, no matter how advance the electronics are.....!

I completely agree, power cable can interfere SQ that’s why most of them are shielded, but still can never guarantee it won’t affect SQ.  Can you pm me for the xlr cable? I am also thinking moving sourced to back of my room.

I could give you the detail, no worries. However, it’s best I lend these to you for a trial in your setup. If they synergy well, then  go ahead investing. ?

Can I ask if you installed separate earth rods for this circuit? If so, what ground rod resistance did you achieve....and how deep did you have to go to achieve that?

i am asking because I am also in the process running a separate circuit to my listening room (waiting for the cables to arrive from Germany). I am going to install separate earth rods...so want to know what success others may have had with this.

Rogers LS3/5a speakers, Tannoy sub, Rotel 991 amp, Topping and Audio-Gd DACs, MacBook running Audirvana, which pulls all my digital sources together and does the room EQ.
