Look like Tang Band drivers in the upper registers with the wizzes cones.

They are sealed in 28L, then 10" SB Acoustic woofers are ported in 68L and tuned to 23Hz. I was using 220Hz, 1st order crossover, but now with further experimentation i'm using my custom designed 200Hz, LR2 crossover. LR2 co is a big improvement. I'm very very happy with how they sound. The use of an adjustable L-pad is required for matching drivers sensitivity and in room listening preferences. TB 1808's easily do a measured 20000Hz, but at my age i can only hear up to 16000Hz max. Cheers @Mushroom01, yes, those TB 1808 are very good sounding drivers. I am using a pair of them in my system albeit I removed the wizzer cone and added a Raal ribbon tweeter...... 8

EddieT
D Seriously guys id like to see what’s in your garages! Ferrari’s Porches! Ive got a skateboard As grandma left her gramophone to my rotten brother I’m experimenting with the one shellac I stole a ballpoint pen connected to a 9volt battery I found on tip day and speakers (yes I know about Stereo) which I’ve connected by straightening old clothes hangers to two empty soup cans, after some experimentation I’ve gone with Cambells Creme of Chicken as Split Pea and Beef Stew we’re lacking in bass response. I very much wanted to contribute pictures however the site won’t upload photos from a Camera Obscura so I’ll nip off to uncle Teds and when he’s really drunk grab his box brownie and try again ok you got me mr navi I was trying to complete so pretended I actually own a skateboard when in reality I don’t have the proverbial pot to piss in Just shows what envy can do to a bloke Happy Christmas too all Edited December 12, 2018 by EddieT
