I'm just comfortably numb!

The Beatles Abbey Road Japan 1976 NM with OBI & Insert   Discogs say this is one of the best pressings, and it does sound pretty FAB !!

Blondie The Best of Blondie Australia 1981

Lady Gaga

The Fame Monster

2 x LP Box set

Limited Edition (Exclusive only to Urban Outfitters)

2020

(Made in Canada)

Finally......................The Fame Monster a proper release !!

"Fame Monster" - Lovely silver vinyl - Flawless

"The Fame" double album in a lovely green - also Flawless! - not one snap, crackle or pop on either of these LPs.

People are buying these and already the price is doubling/tripling on auction sites  as Urban Outfitters have very small runs and sell out fast - Urban Outfitters are the only ones with Fame Monster release.

if you are interested - get it from Urban Outfitters on line $64 for the boxed set with $15 shipping or spend $80 and get free shipping from US - they used DHL.

PS also need to add: that unlike "The Fame Monster" picture disc, this one is the uncensored version 👍

Great sound quality from the Naim Label and Abbey Road remastering and intimate performances from guitarist and singer. 2002. Anyone else got any Naim label LP’s?

I’m pretty certain I’m the only one with this LP!  Recorded live at the Jogjakarta Sultans Palace in 1971.... quite mesmeric....... nice to think of the next trip to Indonesia... when we can all travel again....

Prince - Vault tracks II.  from the SOTT box set - the more you play the vault stuff, the better and better it gets. amazing what great stuff the purple man discarded.  the 6 min acoustic version of Forever In My Life is amazing.

Aah, sorry Shane ... the Scrawny One is not on my 'must play' list.    (I think I'm a couple of decades older than U!  xD )

Age is a cheap cop out. Do yourself a favour and open your mind.   You may surprise yourself and realise how good it is. 👍

Good try, amigo.  xD  I own no recordings of those guys, either.

But I acknowledge your urging to 'open my mind ' as a good thing to do.  :)  Up until about 10 years ago, I always thought the late, great Amy W was just a drugged-out slag who I wouldn't be interested in.  Then I happened to be on a dive boat in far north-eastern Tahiti ... and one day, over lunch, they played this female singer whose voice captivated me.  I asked who it was ... to be told it was Amy Winehouse!  Now, I have all of her albums.

My first Boss record and still his best IMHO.

IMG_20201025_113549976.jpg

Not even close😀

The first 4 plus Nebraska miles better

Although the songs Independence Day and The River are 2 of his best songs

I don’t like the sound of the records after Darkness

You would really like The Seeger Sessions if you haven’t heard it

Did you see Jerry Jeff Walker died yesterday

      Original 2009 USA pressing.
Long out of print - even the 2013 reissues go for big bucks.
There were blue vinyl versions, and clear vinyl versions.
This could be either, it's impossible to tell.
Comes with CD version of the album.

This copy is sealed in shrink, but has suffered some light edge wearto the bottom and corners.
Ignore the apparent ringwear in the pics - that's just on the shrink not the jacket underneath.
