And there goes dinner for the rest of the month and November 😢😢😢

Currently playing as about to have lunch, Ivory by Gin Wigmore, very Amy Winehouse sounding on many tracks.

I don’t own any first pressings, I’ve got the Appetite for Destruction 2018 remaster which sounds very good.

I’ve only listened to the first side of the Greatest Hits, and the SQ is good and the pressing is quiet, just got a new TT so everything sounds great, it is difficult to compare versions at the moment.

Thanks mate, it looks like a good buying then

Great stuff! Two of my Grand Ole Opry favourites! I often spin the Deliverance soundtrack featuring these guys.

I have the Deliverence OST aswell but it's a pretty ratty old op-shop copy so it doesn't see much play time since I started having some sympathy for my stylus.

By sheer dumb luck my opshop copy was barely played and quite good SQ.

Had a great morning with Ryan at Air Raid Records (Darwin) and picked up some vinyl missing from my various artists collection, especially this one which is in great condition. Some awesome songs and a good pressing. Playing it through my work system which is total secondhand SNA (Ya gotta love this site).

Hi JJ.

Great timing mate. Just finished listening to this on Spotify. Agree, this is as good as their others. Just ordered the cd from Amazon for $15. Got most of their other CDs.

Have not listened to them for awhile.  Same with the band, Doves.

Going to have a listen later, after I've finished my chores. Then maybe, some Editors.  I'm in an Indie kind of mood. Just have to work out what alcoholic beveridge goes with it😄

Someone was spinning this album not long ago, after sampling it I purchased this LP and it arrived on Friday

Now that it’s had a deep clean it’s time to spin

For a jazz feeling it would be more - experimental, full of life and happily playful

Artist - Bill Evans

Title - At The Montreux Jazz Festival

Album ID - https://www.discogs.com/Bill-Evans-At-The-Montreux-Jazz-Festival/release/13220409

New SADE box set has been sitting around all week and finally started wading through it tonight. So far pressing quality is immaculate and very pleased with the sound compared to my UK and Japanese pressings for Diamond Life and Promise....

Linda Ronstadt, her version of Kate McGarrigle's "Talk to me of Mendocino" alone is worth the price of admission. There's a couple of tunes by Jimmy Webb and Dolly Parton too.

      Original 2009 USA pressing.
Long out of print - even the 2013 reissues go for big bucks.
There were blue vinyl versions, and clear vinyl versions.
This could be either, it's impossible to tell.
Comes with CD version of the album.

This copy is sealed in shrink, but has suffered some light edge wearto the bottom and corners.
Ignore the apparent ringwear in the pics - that's just on the shrink not the jacket underneath.
