Rickie Lee Jones - Pirates.  Feeling a bit nostalgic ?. Love the way it moves from the very wistful Skeletons, to the happy upbeat brassy boogie of Woody and Dutch on the Slow Train to Peking ?

More nostalgia here, Elton John - Too Low for Zero. My fave tracks here: Cold as Christmas, I Guess That's Why They Call it the Blues, and I Want to Kiss the Bride

I ask myself how influential is this artist

A musical genius that has collaborated with many artists that are brilliant in there own right including David Bowie and Brian Eno to name a couple

And a founding member of King Crimson

A brilliant solo album from 1979 that I still play on a regular basis

Artist - Robert Fripp

Title - Exposure

Album ID - https://www.discogs.com/Robert-Fripp-Exposure/release/5138207

I love it.  The vocalist Conor Mason is a force of nature.

The goodness continues with their latest release (moral panic).

Agree, his voice is massive. Amsterdam is a great example.

Someone mentioned this through the week. Ordered and arrived in a few days.

Had always been interested in it.

Vampire Weekend  - Contra

2nd track wouldn't be out of place on Paul Simon's Graceland.

If memory serves me right that is a Peter Gabriel film score

I think that one is called Birdy.

This is by Clint Eastwood about Charlie Parker and all Jazz
