Prince - Vault tracks II.  from the SOTT box set - the more you play the vault stuff, the better and better it gets. amazing what great stuff the purple man discarded.  the 6 min acoustic version of Forever In My Life is amazing.

Andy.  Have you bought the SOTT box set?

Aah, sorry Shane ... the Scrawny One is not on my 'must play' list.    (I think I'm a couple of decades older than U!  xD )

Age is a cheap cop out. Do yourself a favour and open your mind.   You may surprise yourself and realise how good it is. ?

Good try, amigo.  xD  I own no recordings of those guys, either.

But I acknowledge your urging to 'open my mind ' as a good thing to do.  :)  Up until about 10 years ago, I always thought the late, great Amy W was just a drugged-out slag who I wouldn't be interested in.  Then I happened to be on a dive boat in far north-eastern Tahiti ... and one day, over lunch, they played this female singer whose voice captivated me.  I asked who it was ... to be told it was Amy Winehouse!  Now, I have all of her albums.

My first Boss record and still his best IMHO.

Not even close?

The first 4 plus Nebraska miles better

Although the songs Independence Day and The River are 2 of his best songs

I don’t like the sound of the records after Darkness

You would really like The Seeger Sessions if you haven’t heard it

Did you see Jerry Jeff Walker died yesterday
