Hahahahaa - just so confusing having different vinyl threads.......I usually only just do this one, now it is segregation ?- but happy to post in coloured if  that is preferred than here for coloured vinyl???? I just never noticed that thread before ?

this is the ubiquitous vinyl thread.  I prefer posting in this thread rather than determining by colour, genre etc..  I'm playing what I'm playing.  :)   ?

I very much enjoy this guitar duo.  Favourite album is Live in Japan but this recent acquisition is not far behind. Only one side as the reverse is etched vinyl (but not the playable type like Split Enz True Colours).  Good sq

Hi mate.

Another heads up.

Can't recall if you have posted these artists. See thousands of these post and can never remember who posted what. I'm also forever looking for new stuff (hence always broke. and confused?)

So anything by:

Spoon

Death Cab For Cutie

Elbow

Kurt Vile

War on Drugs

Cheers Ken.

JJ

Hi JJ.

Great timing mate. Just finished listening to this on Spotify. Agree, this is as good as their others. Just ordered the cd from Amazon for $15. Got most of their other CDs.

Have not listened to them for awhile.  Same with the band, Doves.

Going to have a listen later, after I've finished my chores. Then maybe, some Editors.  I'm in an Indie kind of mood. Just have to work out what alcoholic beveridge goes with it?

Last night after disappointing results in both football finals, I stayed up long after the rest of the family went to bed, drinking red wine, listening to records and enjoying a late season fire.

I will continue on with some amazing jazz fusion

This album was originally released in 1967  and still has the ability to prick my ears up

Quote from the net about this album and the performing artists

This 1967 quartet session is quite notable in several respects. Although the Muse reissue makes Chick Corea the leader (and the then-unknown pianist is in fine form), it was actually drummer Pete La Roca's date, and he contributes seven now-forgotten but quite intriguing originals. But of greatest interest is the playing of tenor saxophonist John Gilmore, heard during one of his few excursions away from Sun Ra. Fine advanced hard bop.

Artist -  Chick Corea

Title - Bliss

Whitney Houston

My Love Is Your Love

1998

US

2 x LP

https://www.discogs.com/Whitney-Houston-My-Love-Is-Your-Love/release/1830425

Managed to snaffle a copy still in Shrink wrap.

This was only released in US on Vinyl from what I can tell, and never reissued. Such a shame as it is a fantastic sounding LP.

Cost me an arm and leg and now I am eating cheap again - shall include a pic of last night's dinner - hahaha
