John Mayall's Bluesbreakers with Eric Clapton  (1966)

Ah. The nostalgia. Beano. Used to read it all the growing up as a young tacker in good old Blighty.

Every Christmas, they used to bring out a hard copy book, that dad's work place used to give to all the boys at the Christmas party. Cherished times indeed.

I was gutted when we moved to Australia in 1966, and wasn't allowed to bring them?. Probably worth a bloody fortune now.

Had a bit of a run on Bill this morning after i heard the news, one of the finest soul voices ever.

When l first heard the sad news, l thought; where had l heard that name before. Couldn't think of what he had bought out. Not a single song.  Before my time. Then l looked up his volume of work. Then it clicked. Yep. Legend. Another one my mother loved.  Another good one gone. RIP.

Plus I'm not as rich as you mate.?

You have me confused with someone else, I live off a pension.

Currently listening to Storm Corrosion, a collaboration between Mikael Åkerfeldt of Swedish progressive metal band Opeth and Steven Wilson.

Pink Floyd 'Meddle' (1971).  I love playing 'Echoes' loud with all the lights out.  Scares the **** out of me.

Great album, search for the video of Echoes from David Gilmour Live in Gdańsk. He plays with Richard Wright and also Phil Manzanera.
