you can export it to excel - I do that and send to my insurance company each year at renewal time, so that I can prove my library should anything happen.  I insure for the max $$ as listed on discogs.

yes and if you are a Mac user (like me) works in Numbers too, tis pretty cool as it exports all your collection info including your notes and you can sort it through the Numbers program (and I assume Excel would be the same).

Inspiration from @evil c

I received this album for my birthday last month - but just opened it up for a spin today

Needs no introduction

But it sounds fantastic on my horn system with a little extra volume ?

Artist - Mike Oldfield

Title - Tubular Bells

95791-C18-BC20-49-B8-94-EC-977-A8682-A60

Just discussed this album with Tubular bells earlier, he reckons best pressing - the level of detail and bass is a revelation on a good system!

I was actually both

Our family owned a mechanical workshop and we loved speed, especially road going cars for 1/4 mile drag racing and sky boats

Chased waves mostly from Nobbys to Redhead

We also converted old VW’s to beach buggies and rode the sand dunes with a little beach fishing at Stockton

Prey tell. What is a Westie?

That is an impressive Rush LP collection

Wish I found the band Rush earlier - excellent music and output

But I only have one LP and 4 CDs

So I’m playing catch up

Will go looking at the next record fair

Actually, what’s a sky boat? ?

I presume he means anyone who didn’t like the surf, but I came from Boolaroo which I reckon would be classed as a western suburb, but I still enjoyed the beaches and the surf.

From memory but @cheekyboy   may want to add to it
It’s - Someone that came from west of the suburb Edgeworth and also into mechanical stuff  ( with a bit of fighting on Saturday nights )

That’s capturing a huge chunk that aren’t ‘westies’ and Boolaroo probably doesn’t make it.? I’d probably have said west of Lambton.

What  mechanical business did your family have?

Water ski boat

Sorry it’s a typeO

Oh, the question was definitely rhetoric.?

We water-skied on the Lake and up on the Williams River in the early to mid ‘70s mainly.

So sorry -  I know how that feels - I am still not over the passing of Prince ?

But as Dr. Suess says "Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened"

How lucky we are to have lived when these great musical artists were with us.

RIP to all the legends ?

If you're a Bob Dylan fan like me, you'll probably enjoy the tribute album by Old Crow Medicine Show - 50 years of Blonde on Blonde. A very good pressing for a live recording over two concert shows back in 2016. Probably a little more banjo here compared to Bob's version, but I'm a bluegrass fan anyway, so love the energy they bring to these songs and a great tribute to a Dylan classic.

Purchased today at my favourite second hand record shop (which is lucky because it’s the only one in Darwin), Air Raid Records, for the princely sum of $1.00 (Australian pressing). Vinyl in truly excellent condition and sounding beautiful.

Should have seen it live

In Brisbane with a smallish audience

One of the better concerts I’ve ever seen

played in order of the record and the first song brought the house down

Everybody must get stoned sung by a few hundred people

We were upstairs

The sound of bluegrass with Dylan’s surreal words drifting up from the stage

unbelievable

Not exactly Bogan

Edgeworth runs along Cockle Creek and opposite the Golf course, it’s also about 8 kms from Lake Macquarie
