awayward
Recently acquired a original US pressing of Metallica’s black album, great mix, a bit of a waste taking a photo a just a black album cover, but you get my drift

H SQ is generally good, crisp and dynamic, kick drum and cymbals are prominent and well balanced overall, mids/vocals/guitars are clear but the bass guitar is a little back in the mix sometimes, but clear and nicely defined when moved to the front when required, I like it. Rocketfrogs
Jethro Tull 'Bursting Out' (1978). A live album featuring my favorite line-up of Tull with John Glascock on bass and Barrimore Barlow on drums. Followed by some 70's Sabbath 'Technical Ecstasy' (1976)

tubularbells
Spinning the new Madonna LP and am really enjoying what I'm hearing so far. More diverse and experimental than I've heard from her in a long time. Yeah it's overly processed mass market fodder but I can hear an edge to this release that I really like however I'm a self confessed Madonna tragic making this my 91th piece of Madonna vinyl so yeah take it for what it's worth... 4
