Black Sabbath 'Sabbath Bloody Sabbath' (1973).  My first and favourite Sabbath album featuring the 'heaviest' guitar tone of all time.

Also a favourite of mine

And the one I purchased first as well ??

I have a treat of nostalgia for the spinners

A classic album

Although I love the leading track - War Pigs

I absolutely love some of the more subtle tracks like Planet Caravan

One song that’s did not make the record ( so the story goes ) is due to not being able to fit on the record is also a favourite and that song is called - When A Blind Man Cries ( and came out on Machine Head )

Ahh I love this record

The walls of my room are shaking

Artist - Black Sabbath

Title - Paranoid

ID - 6360 011

Let’s finish this session with a bang and spin the last album in the collection

This album was released one year after Paranoid

It’s just another brilliant album

Tony Iommi out did himself with detuning his guitar to make it sound rougher and deeper

Artist - Black Sabbath

Title - Master Of Reality

Played Back in Black cut of this akkadakka album for my 5yo daughter after dinner today, to demonstrate what kind of music was it that a protagonist Dad in her picture book from school "My Dad Does YOGA" finds distracting from the new next door "Yobbo" neaighbours. Funny, smart book. Seeing the guy with cricket bat has an "AB ☠️ CD" T-shirt on, sealed the choice of music. When she asked a day before as we read the book " What is this music they're talking about?" had to improvise and sing the start of the chorus to "Are you ready".

This web-stock photo is the closest to the look of my copy, which still sounds beaut (does need a peel though).

I like this album because it has great Clarinet

A lovely mainstream jazz release that you can sit and listen to in contemplation while sipping on a brandy or wine

The ensemble also do a great job of the classic- Take Five

Artist - Arne Domnérus

Featuring -  Bengt Hallberg, Georg Riedel, Egil Johansen + Lars Erstrand ‎

Title - Jazz At The Pawnshop

A bit of a treat for Jazz / Blues fans

Piano is the dominant instrument and those licks are worth stealing

I am spinning an album written as a memory of train journeys with his father

Artist - The Oscar Peterson Trio

Title - Night Train

My copy is a Verve recording made exclusively for World Record Club - Australia release from 1974

And they mixed up the record labels side 1 should be side 2 and vice versa
