crisis
Given a spin after a PVA cleaning. The two Decca records were so bad I couldn't listen to them. They sound amazing now especially as they are 55 and 57 years old. The Nutcracker in particular sounds incredibly detailed given its age. Saint Saens was better but dramatically improved after a clean.

I love listening to them. Just a couple of days ago I listened to a box set of Turandot on Decca LXT mono records.

Beethoven was recorded in 1960 but mine is an English 1961 version. What is Phase 4 anyway?

I've read a lot of people do use PVA wood glue, I tried it once a while back but if left a little residue. There is a thread on the Vinyl & Turntable section by Candyflip, about the Monte Marte glue, if ya wanna check it out? I believe it's much like the re-virginizer mentioned and used by quite a few. I highly recommend the process. Cheers Man. Ant.
