Had a break from watching the Bathurst 1000

Needed to play an LP to after a short break and it’s also raining in my location

Boy does an LP sound great when it’s raining outside

Settled on a brilliant album by a brilliant musician

An all synth recording taken to the pinnacle of its being

Artist - Synergy

Title - Audion

This album is a US import

Look what I got in the mail today. Sooo excited to get this album. Never released on vinyl when it came out in 1993. Only cd and cassette, go figure. I've had it on cd since it's release and found out only a week ago that it had been released on vinyl by LMCR in Brisbane. Unfortunately their web site said sold out. There was only 300 copies released and that was in 2015. Thought I'd try my luck and sent them a message and they actually had a copy left. One very happy camper so I snapped it up. Great album and the SQ of this recording is on point.

Hi All,

New arrivals in the post, Dead Can Dance - Within the Realm of A Dying Sun.

As I have said previously, there is no protective inner sleeve, straight into a light cardboard sleeve, which requires a good clean and dry prior to use .

@Janjuc

 Great album ??

Yes I believe this new packaging is a backward step

By their argument / explanation

I offer this -  45 RPM records haven’t stored to well due to being offered in paper sleeves

If it’s for reasons of removing disposable plastics, then they should offer integrated plastic lining with the paper sleeve cover, thus reducing the need to dispose by over 90%

Thought I would continue with Synergy’s 4th album

Larry Fast is a true pioneer of electronic music

This album I believe was conceived while Larry was touring with Peter Gabriel

I would class this album genre as experimental electronic

Cool looking cover as well

Artist - Synergy - Larry Fast

Title - Games

ID - PB6003 On Pasport Records

Some melodic hard rock at its best, Dokken - Under Lock and Key.

And they look sooooo pretty, oh the 1980s

What is the recording like? I have that on CD. Audiophile recording was not a phrase synonymous with 80s hair metal. ?

That tone arm is interesting?

Nice rainy day to vac clean some records.  Giving Genesis a spin.  Love 'Home by the Sea' track.
