I like the particular album I played earlier also because of Clifford Brown's contribution.

One tweak I see you don't have which I used was to put a protective cap on the end of the bottom of the arm. Too easy to scrape the record on it otherwise.

I have researched the Tomahawk tone arm updates on the Transfi site

As of 2016 its recommended that the metal needle pivots be replaced with nylon

Go back to when I was putting all the pieces together well before 2016 I forethought that the pivot area may need some treatment and came up with my method by applying a coating to the pivot points with a fully researched product that had specific properties for this application

So in effect I have achieved the same result as the nylon needle pivot screws

Probably why I haven't had any issues since day one ?

The wire tidy method

I did a similar thing with blue tac as an experiment so I may copy Vic's method by using some heat sink tube - but I won't be using silicone as its to messy but instead use the foam type double sided tape

This album is from an English band called New Order

They had very poor packaging - the outer cover is more like an inner sleeve

On this particular album, only one track is recorded per side and both tracks have a hypnotic and very distinctive drum beat

Artist  - New Order

Title - No Title see Track names

Track 1 - The Beach

Track 2 - Blue Monday

You mean from THE English band called New Order.  Just about the best band of the 1980's and came out of the sadness that was the end of Joy Division.

Blue Monday is the biggest selling 12 inch single of all time and was only ever released as a single.   Even the album Power, Corruption & Lies used to have stickers saying - Does NOT Include Blue Monday.

Awesome song and awesome band :thumb:

I haven't heard it myself but it sounds amazing

Info sourced from the net

Matching Tie and Handkerchief" (Arista Records 1973).
Put it on side 2. Of course, since it's Python both sides are labled side 2 but one has the designation "SB".
Start the album, listen to the opening of the first skit.
Then, restart the album. You may have to lift and place the stylus a few times before you hit the parallel groove, but when you do you will get a completely different track. This runs through the whole side.
One can have  this album for months before One heard the third side. At first you could not figure out why the second side seemed so much shorter than the first.

One of the best musically brilliant live albums I own and I have 4 in total from this artist

It's a mixture of jazz fusion, prog rock and so much improv to last you a while and unless you truely listen you will miss a lot

Artist - Bill Brufford

Album - Brufford Tapes
