Will be there bright and early tomorrow morning. Always a decent turn out and even though it states 10am start I get there around 9am in hopes of beating the crowd, it appears I am not the only one as it is always busy.

Wondering if it will be a bit quiet, just after Christmas and with the heat

I picked up a copy of The Spikes Lp last time ,River of love has always been one of my favorite songs

What is the record fair

literally just records

is it run by shops

how often do they have them

somebody selling records took over the Brunswick Heads hall for a week after Xmas

would that have been a record fair

thousands of records for sale but looked second hand to me

spent aan enjoyable hour or so looking around

reminded me of the 70's

im going to Brisbane tomorrow to the movies but would have gone to this if I'd known a bit earlier

Records and CD's.

Every 2nd Saturday of the month.

The same vendor who had the record fair in Brunswick heads will be there tomorrow and he is usually there .

Yes he has thousands of Records and they are 2nd hand, which is normal for a record fair.

What Chris has said plus ,deep breath

What is the record fair  it is like a lot of pop up shop, selling records and some cd's   just for one day

literally just records  it is mainly records but some times there may be things like music posters

is it run by shops This one is run by Ric from Rocking Horse Records ,but most of the sellers are just collectors them selves ,selling from one or two tables.

There is normally about twenty different sellers  from people having a bit of a clear out with half a table to professionals with twenty tables.

It is really buyer beware as the condition and price of the records on one persons stall can be way different to another stall holder. But after a while you will get to know the ones that have the stuff you like and are ok with condition.

how often do they have them  As chris said This one is the second Saturday of every month and has been running just over three years.

Others are run on the Gold and Sunshine Coast and Ipswitch on an iregular basis.

somebody selling records took over the Brunswick Heads hall for a week after Xmas  as Chris said

would that have been a record fair Yes but that Fair is only Mat from Byron Bay and no other sellers.

thousands of records for sale but looked second hand to me  Mainly second hand but some new stuff now days

spent aan enjoyable hour or so looking around

reminded me of the 70's

im going to Brisbane tomorrow to the movies but would have gone to this if I'd known a bit earlier

There is a DJ playing in both venues and you can have a beer so there is quite a good atmosphere. Both sellers and buyer are quite friendly and helpfull

Will be open till about three.  Come to the next one in February

One last thing      pay the seller behind the table    not at the door

It was a good day ,even if it was really hot....

A few sellers were missing but  Christmas and the heat did not affect the number of looker / buyers

This was my haul. Some Dr Feel Good, Madness and Ian Dury singles to add to my collection.

Plus the Hicks from the sticks 80's compilation.

Some good tracks and some bands going on to bigger things. Section 25, Clock DVA and Wah Heat and all from the guy with the stall next to mine ,so I did not need to go far.

A new mini series - every box, every record.

      Missed out?
Here's a walkthru of the recent Notting Hill Record Fair, Victoria on Sunday the 15th December, 2019.

      Enjoy!

The Hunter recid fair is on again! its only twice a year, and first one is this weekend
      I confess to a self
interest- I will have a stall there. I am expecting to be wearing a brown Beefheart t- shirt and answer to the name of steve, so drop in if you are there (there is more than one Steve, but hopefully not all in beefheart T shirts)

As you know, a main attraction for those of who get hung up on our source material (records and Cd's) is the
Australian Record Fair at the 2018 Melbourne Hi Fi Show.

It's just 5 weeks away now, and we Sellers are in high gear getting our crates ready for the big event.

This is an official call for interested members who have collections they are ready to move on to good homes: Please express your interest in a table or two, now.

If you're a first time Seller, it couldn't be easier.
You bring the records/cd's and prices you want, we bring the venue, tables, chairs you'll need, and the crowds and the money you'll drool over.

Seller Table fees are the most reasonable they have ever been, now just $100 a table for the full 3 day experience.
Deals are in place for large Sellers.
** 12/9/18 UPDATE : PLEASE NOTE - we are on a Waiting List only basis now, as we have been over-run with requests.
The main hall and the hallway are pretty much full, so requests for Standby of 1 table maximum are all we can accommodate at this stage.
Thanks to everyone for jumping on board!
      ______________________________________________

Many of you won't be keen on selling your collections over the full 3 days for a host of reasons.
      Perfectly understandable.
So we are happy to take well organised, priced and catalogued collections on consignment to sell for you, over the 3 days.

If you can't even get THAT organised, contact us anyway and we'll work something very low maintenance and easy out with you.

Either way, this is your chance to get involved in the biggest Record Fair run in the country.
Experienced or not, you don't want to miss this rabid fan base and these discerning appreciative buyers.

Contact me here by Private Message, and Scott and I will sort you out.
Can't wait to see you all at the SHOW!   🙌
