It would have been interesting to see how your tastes had changed since deciding to cellar these and what you would cellar today.

Absolutely, Nebbiolo and Pinot these days....go figure...

Speaking of cellars.. What's the preferred temp range for storage?

My two cents, .....Constant temperature is the most important factor..... within a range of say 12 to even 22 degrees C.

Big spikes in temperature just cook your wine and corks.

Then you have to have the right humidity so the corks don’t dry out....something in excess of 60% is good.

Then it must be dark and vibration free..... away from your subs.....

YMMV...........plenty on wino’s around here Lee😂

Thanks mate, I’ve certainly become a big fan of the Zalto glassware.

Using the right glasses for the job absolutely makes a difference and I think it is undeniably worth the investment ( even more than power cables 😉) you certainly don’t have to spend a fortune but the rewards of entering into world of dedicated glassware pays dividends.

Decanters certainly make an impact too  but their ease of cleaning  has to take priority over looks, this one falls somewhere in the middle I feel.

That Willowlake is a bargain (if you like you Pinot on the feminine side).
