@ZammoNice selection there especially the Mount Mary Quintet. It must have been an excellent dinner party with that selection.

Cooked up a few nice dishes for good friends. The 2011 Quintet was from a cold, wet vintage, so an early drinking wine by Quintet standards. Still a lovely wine on the lighter, red berry spectrum. I think I still have one 2011 left, so will drink up soon.

I love it when you find these little gems that you had forgotten about.

This 2008 E&T Cab Sav is a cracker......

The D N Chardonnay is a very handy little quaffer for weekdays.

This was a forgotten bottle in the cellar. 2006 vintage. Had been meaning to drink it long ago, but it was delightful regardless. Held up very well at 13 years of age. Definitely worth a look, though I haven't had any current vintages.

Only recently bought a half dozen of the Domaine Naturaliste Artus Chardonnay. It's a ripper if you like the full on Pierro style. May need to try the Discovery as well.

Has anyone had any experience using GoodDrop.com.au? Their price on some really good single malts is fantastic, but cant find anything online about them except their web page, hence the trepidation.
Well it took 2 weeks to get here but they arrived. They were well packed.8d6e9da9a119ae87beb043a0aac2436b.jpg

Great choices Glen, I am a big fan of the Four Roses, albeit have not tried the one you have acquired.

Cheers and good drinking.....:thumb:

Storms and rain so a good night to stay home and cook.

From the north of Italy, Valtellina to the west coast USA , Sonoma county tonight, should be a hoot.
