@Mendes   nothing so nice as that you hold. I've never heard or tasted it.

But! I'm on the same year.

Umm, I'm ashamed to say that I dented it bigtime . But in my defence it's Friday night and I peeled a heap of king prawns and some fresh Barramundi via the local fishmonger and drowned them in fresh chilli from the garden and an odd coriander that has a lemon taste to it(seeds found at Bunnings  actually. it was like: There's a lemony coriander???).

From there I've gone downhill and snuck into my listening room under the excuse that I have Toy Story 4 for her to watch(I don't. But I will shortly...).

There's always a backup red in here hidden behind the rows of stupid buys you never ever listen to but gee doesn't it look like your kinda cool and on the pulse(I'm talking to you Iron& Wine...)

Not the biggest fan of White wine, but this is very easy drinking 2018 Brokenwood “Cricket Pitch” Sauvignon Blanc. Semillon

Matching it with some home made garlic bread and a Salmon Vegetable Curry (https://wellnourished.com.au/salmon-vegetable-curry/)

^^ Brokenwood -- !@##% !! They have been around for some time. By gee I remember drinking Cricket Pitch reds and whites many years ago..  Pokolbin Hunter Valley. It's that "Kurri Clay" they say.. I had an exceptional Shiraz one year from Brokenwood - might have been 1988??

Its the second night for this bottle and as expected it’s even better than the first night, it is an absolute ripper of a bottle, looking forward to tracking down his latest releases.

After several years of wine storage due to various house moves and renovations, I can finally get back into my more serious wines. A whole bunch of them are now in drinking phase, so no more quaffers for us for a while.

Thought this was a pretty good way to start.....

I don’t think I’ve had a bad wine from Verona. This is a little beauty from vinomofo for $20 bottle.

Hump day and out for a bite with the girl.

The MR Chardonnay is pretty tidy for reasonable coin and Lance’s Close Pllanted is a ripper Yarra Valley Pin.....

Not sure when I bought this but I know I did buy from the winery , but still tastes good , not a big wine buff so wasn't sure if it would. Some Also went into the slow cooker for beef with red wine and garlic dinner
