The Steading is very underrated in the Torbreck line up.

A great afternoon with a couple of great blokes @coeuslee and @AccuMagi that Pinot in particular for me was a highlight, with a few quick wonderful drams from Islay, which were a great way to finish o

First time posting here, be gentle!

Celebrating 34th wedding anniversary today. Took the day off to cook for princess given we are still wearing masks ,so why go out when I can cook up a treat at home and wine list is cool.

The Steading brings the memory back when I used to drink their 1997 vintage, if memory serves me well, even before they became famous.

I have to comment on this red;- light with a complex palette, light tannins with a creamed honey bouquet. For me an oven baked salmon and steamed veg side and this almost dry but enchanting drink.

We usually stay up in Melbourne two our three times a year. Not the case last year. Trying the Langham and not Crown Promenade this time. Stumbled on this red while shopping at Woolworths. Not expensive.

Just got back from a lunch with Lindsay McCall of Paringa Wines. Reckons this year's vintage will be a cracker. Picking has been going since February (i.e. a very long vintage, 2016 was done in 16 days). But without the high temperatures, there's been a chance for the grapes to develop flavour and there's been enough sunshine so they won't be anemic. Sounds like the Mornington Peninsula is going to produce some really good 2021 wines.

Had a 2019 Estate Chardonnay and a 2018 Estate Pinot with a wild mushroom tart and a duck cassoulet. Grabbed some Chardy on the way out, but we like our Paringa reds a little older.

Bought it from Naked wines.   Is very nice wine. Fairly smooth.  Robust with a fruity aftertaste.  Nothing to dislike

Not quite Kilgore Trout.

You could at least introduce a liqueur into the mix surely
