markm1111 637
Drank this the other night, surprisingly good for the $15 6+ price from Wine Collective. . Something a bit different, if you like Amarone this has a touch of it, full flavoured but not too long. Perfect with Italian, of course!

I don't think that any have been released since about 2014. I bought some 2014 Bin 1410 Shiraz Special Reserve in Feb 2019 but haven't seen anything since.

The Lindemans vineyards and winery (Ben Ean) have been sold to a consortium of other Hunter entities. Peterson and Mcguigan are 2 of the new owners. Peterson is better known for using their wine outlets as entertainment venues for conventions, weddings, restaurants etc. Ben Ean seems to be going the same way. Almost all of Peterson wine is from Mudgee despite their Hunter presence. The new Ben Ean seems to be selling a handful of labels from around the place. Amongst the brands they are selling is Penfolds?? Hunter Lindemans is no more. A pity for a 170-ish year old winery/vineyard. Treasury Wine Estates no longer has any Hunter presence. mtf 1,076
Some declassified 2015 Lovedale Semillon I picked up for $25 from Winestar in 2019, really enjoying this right now but I think it will pay dividends to hide the others for a few more years if I can resist.
