Waited a few years and moved over to playing Elite Dangerous which rocks... mostly, except for the epic grind to get epic ships and components. I've kept away from Elite Dangerous (unlike 30 years ago, I have a life...) but the point of the old Elite games was the grind and hard work at the beginning to have enough to survive the tougher and more profitable areas of the game. EekOZ Posted January 2, 2019 Share Posted January 2, 2019 (edited) I tried Eve too for a few hours and agree, just too hard and too much work for casual gaming, so I left it. Later went on to Elite Dangerous, and yep, it's a lot of work there too, hahaha! I however did things differently with E:D and joined a casual clan, which has changed it completely for me. Since Elite Dangerous has such a huge learning curve, I received a lot of help from clan members to learn how to play and to progress in the game to get to the more advanced ships etc. Now I love it. If ever anyone needs someone to just help them out, give me a shout. (I will add, just saw the timeline of this thread now, lol - either way...)
