That's what you get for not hiring a proper PA 🙂

Anyhoo bringing the bar back down, a very modest purchase after seeing this in the "Vinyl Currently Spinning" thread a few days back.  Reminded me that i used to have this LP, and have missed it madly.

Cheers

Nice LP.  The Magazine is also well worth getting, hauntingly slow piano, will test the quality of your record player.

I have Magazine on CD and presently i'm trying to minimise duplication.  I want to get (re-buy) Pirates first....then maybe Magazine down the track 🙂

Cool. I still have all 3 lps I bought back in the day. Think she did her best on The Magazine, but I haven't heard much of what she did afterwards.

As I just explained on Currently Spinning....my AC/DC "Live" LP (Donnington) is just not doing it for me like it used to ever since I have been infiltrated and influenced by the sheer joy that is "Live At River Plate". Bit the bullet and just purchased the triple LP of "Live At River Plate" off Discogs. A NM German pressing at a fine price. Stoked!

Cancel that order!!

That fine price I mentioned above was a case of too good to be true. Bought from Spain and advertised as 'free postage', I just got a message from the seller saying it was a Discog mistake and he is cancelling the order and refunding me.

I am shattered!:(:P

A few jazz arrivals - thanks to an SNAer for one of them!

Re the Bill Evans, would rather have other albums first, but can only see the price of this one rising unfortunately :/ 40630FC8-40E7-4182-8619-7B2BC2084E2A.thumb.jpeg.bcd4340c8a2af5292c8dff7c82e9bde7.jpeg

Finally found another piece of unobtanium: https://www.discogs.com/Nirvana-MTV-Unplugged-In-New-York/release/6297149

Pallas pressed - and still sealed (and a stellar deal - couldn’t do it otherwise).

Also stoked on grabbing Norah (Classic Records - cheaper than the AP) and a super cool live version of the wall.

Will definitely be a few months before I can buy anything again, but great deals. Can’t wait for 2057 when it arrives!

Yes, "The Wall - Live in Berlin" is a great album.  In fact, I think I like it better than the original.  :)

I heard it a few times at a mate’s place when I was about 15 (his dad’s), I could be years off, but I’ve never heard it since - can’t wait!
