I picked up a new copy of Alan Parsons Project I Robot mofi 2x45rpm at the Hifi show on the weekend.

I hadn’t paid much attention to them as a group until a few months ago and have been enjoying exploring their music.

This pressing is quite an experience.

I really need to listen to this... the old UHQR is surprisingly affordable too.

Highly, highly recommend a listen to this guy, Orville Peck. A Canadian singer and this is his first album.  It’s country with echoes of Elvis, Roy Orbison and (dare I say it, opera). I’ve been listening to it via streaming (hanging also purchased the download) but today my vinyl copy arrived. Excellent sq. Give it a go cowboy

Orville Peck, Pony

Hi Cardiiii, how is the P77i sounding? Your tone arm looks to be level which is not recommended for this cart. Here is a pick of the rake on my arm. Maybe try and lift the pillar on your arm if you can.

@TOPSHELF Hey mate, it's probably the angle of the photo but it does have a little rake, I had the cart fitted and aligned by James at Tivoli and he mentioned he adjusted the VTA with a little rake as the cart sounds best that way. As for the cart I'm really enjoying it. It is a clear upgrade on the 2M Red. I just want to turn the volume up and up and it doesn't distort, just keeps getting better the louder you go. It's also a lot quieter than the 2M Red, less crackle and pops.

The TT itself appears to have little wooden (or resin) feet......sitting on two types of isolation product (or one).

Actually....one. ?These: https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/4-PCS-D48-H50-High-quality-Amplifier-isolation-Spike-maglev-feet-Audio-stand-mat/132521067475?hash=item1edadf03d3:g:eAMAAOSw4Gdbzlk5

Yes that is the item, they are magnetically loaded. I can honestly say they made a difference, only problem is the motor now needs support and i have a temporary solution which isn't ideal.

I use the same ones under two of my tables, except I have them upside down.
