Guest Stephenstein
I bought a Pioneer Blu Ray region free player a few years ago at JB locally....but what has surprised me is the lack of availability here in Australia, having moved from London, bringing my truly region free blu ray with me, but its useless as it operates through scart socket leads so had to get rid of it. I spoke to one of the guys in JB and he told me that players came into the country region free but are locked by the various makers in Australia. I totally agree with sentiments in these threads.....in this current globalised world why do they lock players.
