Nintendo mini NES classic

Recommended Posts

Great deal!

The weakness is that you can't have additional cartridge games.

Raspberry Pi isn't anywhere near nostalgic though...

Classic console, wasted many hours of my life on one of these...

This is pretty cool.

I'm tempted to get one but probably only use it once or twice so im might not buy it.

It does have my favourite game ; ghost'n'goblins

as the article says,

the mini NES will be far and away the most accessible way for players to experience these classic games. At $100, it's cheaper than buying them individually on Virtual Console and much cheaper than finding and buying the original cartridges.

These are the 2 that I made both with Raspberry Pi2 and Retropie software, I had the top 100 SNES and Megadrive games. Got 2 $5 USB SNES controllers.

I've got my preorder in for one of these. The nostalgia is just too strong to resist.

Anyone got a used one of these they're willing to sell at a reasonable price? Surely the novelty has worn off by now and it's just sitting there gathering dust! I don't care if the packaging is ratty or non-existent as I want it for playing not collecting!

reasonable price ? forget it. it pre sold out world wide. and go for silly prices especially when nintendo said they would no longer do it anymore.

Poop.

Despite what Al said, I'm sure there's someone out there who bought one, played it, and is now over it and would be happy to move it along instead of letting it collect dust. If so, hit me up!

Once the hype settles I doubt the high prices are sustainable for BNIB models, I read that they shipped 2.3m units so there's plenty out there… it's not that rare.
