I bought these on Gumtree a few months back. I wanted to use something to try out my Altec Duplexes with. The plan was to screw a new baffle on the front and play around with porting at the same time. None of this eventuated of course, and I have just bought a pair of original Altec Stonehenge III enclosures, so these enclosures are now surplus to needs. The cabinets are rough but structurally sound, and look to have been professionally made; plywood construction, nicely braced with upholstery foam as damping, corner brackets and carry handles. The exterior is wrapped in vinyl 'leather look' upholstery which is the rough bit. External dimensions are:- Width: 465mm Depth: 345mm Height: 965mm This is pickup only from 2229 Lilli Pilli (near Cronulla). I am available any day during the daytime or can leave them out weather permitting if I'm not home. He had a nicer, huger, more expensive pair, and these at the same price. These were smaller than his advertised ones (which would've suited the Altecs better) and I could've walked away, but it was still cheaper than knocking up a pair of test mules myself......not that I ever did anything with these!
