Rittal/Elsafe power board

Recommended Posts

I recently bought a number of rack-mount power boards off a local seller on Gumtree; some single lead 8 outlet, some twin lead, 16 outlet. For the price of a couple of dodgie Woolies 4 outlet plastic boards, I got this 15A, 8 outlet Elsafe manufactured board.

Check out the fat-wired loom and star-grounded Earth....phwoarr! They came stock with a 15A IEC plug, which I removed and fitted a standard 10A mains plug. Casework is extruded, powdercoated aluminium.

Regards,

Phil

@PonyTail, do you know if the "Half Insulated Active and Neutral Pins" can be added to pins without the insulation?

No. You'll need to buy a new plug. OR, you could just keep your child away from the plug. It is not illegal to use the old plugs, but it is illegal to sell them with new product.
