  1. Item: Violectric HPA V281 With All Options (USB DAC, RELAY volume steps, remote control) Location: Inner West Sydney Price: SOLD ELSEWHERE Item Condition: 9.5/10 - built like a brick, and treated like a baby Reason for selling: Trying out tube amps; need the $$$ Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, COD Only Extra Info: Please note this is the fully upgraded model with all optional add-ons, not just the base v281. Am open to reasonable (non-low ball) offers. If you are after a truly END GAME FULLY BALANCED solid state preamp/headphone amp, please read on. This is the best of the best. In my experience the fully upgraded version of the v281 addresses the key flaws of higher priced competitors: the GSX Mk2 (a bit bright and thin sounding), and the Moon 430HA (too laid back, not enough detail for a solid state amp)... and comes out at the top of the pile. A truly remarkable value for money proposition - something difficult to find in the world of high end audio. My unit for sale is an excellent condition, FULLY spec'd Violectric v281, including:* USB Dac module - allowing the unit to function as an all-in-one solid state powerhouse - for preamp output or headphone amp output* RELAY stepped volume control WITH REMOTE control (in perfect condition)* Silver coloured unit and feetThis model is a significant step up from the basic v281 - and these improvements well warrant the increased price. Don't take my word for it, take Inner Fidelity's:"The "basic" V281 paired with LCD-3 or HE-6 seems like a step down from my Stax rig, while using the upgraded V281 feels closer to a sidestep"...."At some point common sense goes out the window, and we just want the absolute best available. If that's your situation, the Violectric V281 deserves very serious consideration—and a spot on our Wall of Fame." Key features of the product include:* Balanced input, RCA input, USB digital input (DAC)* 1x 4pin XLR output, 2x 1/4" output, preamp out (both XLR and RCA)* Universal voltage - can work in either 115V or 230V (helping it to have global resale value)The unit is in fantastic condition with about 4 years of warranty left. I am the first owner, having bought it first in June 2016 - the unit comes with 5 years of warranty, highlighting the quality of its German manufacturing. Please don't hesitate to PM me with any queries. 2. Item: Aurender X100L (8TB, newer model), Metrum Acoustics Pavane (Silver), Violectric v281 VC2 (Silver) Location: Sydney CBD Price: $12,000 (RRP $17,400) Item Condition: As new Reason for selling: Downsizing, not enough time to enjoy music Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, COD Only Extra Info: Hi all, no pictures yet as I am only a seller if I have interest for all 3 items. Please PM me with offers for either individual pieces or the package. I've spent a huge amount of research & testing time bringing together this synergistic set of Source-->Dac-->Amp (all 240V units purchased originally from Australian hifi retailers). They are all silver and in perfect working condition & aesthetics. All with original boxes too. I'm the first owner of the X100L and v281, both bought in June 2016. I'm the second owner of the Pavane - was bought in 2015. The Aurender includes $2k worth of high res music. Happy to consider a convenience discount for a Sydney buyer that's able to pick up. 3. Item: Violectric V281 Headphone Amplifier (Balanced and Single Ended functionality)Location: Glen Waverley, Victoria (pickup available in Docklands)Item condition description: Excellent.Price and price conditions: $1695 RRP: $2695 Selling at a thousand dollars off RRPReason for selling: Down-sizingPayment Methods: Paypal (add 3%), Cash - Pickup, Bank Transfer. Extra info: This VERY VERY GOOD headphone amplifier (works for both balanced and single ended) provides a huge expansive sound that also has a small hint of what can be described as "tube warmth" (even though it's completely solid state). It can provide two different sounds. In single ended mode, it's warmer but in balanced mode it is more neutral. An excellent combination with both my HD800 and MrSpeakers Ether Flow (open).
