  1. Further information: It's amazing what 3.5 watts can do. This tiny amp – 13cm wide, 13cm deep, 13cm tall – can produce a lot more volume than you might expect. It's tiny and gorgeous and has 4, 6 and 8ohm taps. Very solid construction. One input only. Speaker connections take banana plugs only. Comes with the tube rings. Darko reviewed it favorably, darko.audio/2010/08/miniwatt-n3-integrated-tube-amplifier/ while 6moons, in their bizarro way, raved about its lower-powered predecessor, 6moons.com/audioreviews/miniwatt_2.html/ I prefer not to send tubes in the mail, so pickup. Occasionally I am in Melbourne CBD. Photos: Advertisements without photos of the actual item will not be approved.
  2. Further information: Purchased Brand new 6-May-2020 comes with Bill & Warranty. Photos: Advertisements without photos of the actual item will not be approved.
  3. 40 Watts x 2 channels 4 RCA inputs, 4 and 8 Ohms speaker output https://www.primaluna-usa.com/prologue-two I have had this amp for about 4 years, the current tubes have around 400-450 hours of use. It has a small chip on the body at the back of the unit Excellent build and sound. Tubes included are Sylvania SV6L6GC, JAN 2 x 5814 and Primaluna 2 x 12AX7 Has Adaptive Auto Biasing, and you can use 6550, KT90, EL-34, KT77, 6CA7, 6L6GC, KT66, 7581, EL37, and any of their equivalent power tubes. Hand made point to point wiring. Shipping at cost , pickup available by mutual agreement. Currently the replacement model is $3385 here JJ
  4. Further information: Up for sale is the Cary Audio CAD120S amplifier with Jaguar Anthracite Black clear coat steel chassis and silver anodized aluminum front panel are standard. The RRP of current model (CAD120s MKII) is AUD$9,999 so I’m asking for about 1/3 of RRP with near new tubes so it’s priced for sell. Price is negotiable. I bought this amp from a SNA fellow member. It creates a sublime soundstage, vocals to die for and great transparency. It’s built like a tank and weight nearly 30KG. I have original box so can arrange for shipping at buyer's cost. This unit was imported from Europe (as he was unable to find one locally second hand) and is a 220v model. A step down will be provided should you wish to use it. Or you can buy a THOR PS10 Power Station and Conditioner for step down. Please note that amp has a minor hum, but is not audible during music playing. The hum can be tamed down further with good power cable and conditioner. "It provides 60 watts per channel in triode mode and 120 watts per channel in ultralinear mode into an 8-ohm speaker load. It also had good specs by tube standards in many other respects. (These are described in detail in the specifications listings at the end of this review.) The input circuit is a fully balanced design with separate RCA and XLR inputs; it uses 1% precision metal resistors, Kimber capacitors, and the power supply features 1120mF of capacitance for ample reserves in demanding usages. In short, the Cary CAD-120S had all the bells and whistles of a top quality design." - The Absolute Sound There are lots of reviews on this amp, one from our own website: https://www.stereo.net.au/reviews/review-cary-audio-slp-05-preamplifier-cad-120s-mkii-power-amplifier Photos: Advertisements without photos of the actual item will not be approved.

  7. Item: FS: Elemental Watson Gen 2 Hybrid Tube Mosfet Headphone Amp Location: Kew East, Victoria Price: $150 Item Condition: mint (besides dust) Reason for selling: no longer needed Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, COD Only Extra Info: very nice sounding headphone amp. This replaced my Nuforce HDP headphone amp, it just walked all over it when I was A/Bing them which is no small feat if you take 6moon's opinion of the Nuforce's headphone amp being very good indeed. I have barely listened to headphones in a stationery set up in last few years so it's just not being used. Would be lucky to have put 30 hours on it. Purchased new from Jaben for $320 odd...... Can ship...... By trimming down on unnecessary luxuries and focusing on core performance, the Watson is able to operate in a dual mono configuration, with a military grade NOS 6AK5 tubes being the center piece of each channel™'s gain stage. Not only does this deliver rich harmonics typical of single ended class-A valve amps but also reduces warm up time of the valves significantly whilst extending the life of each valve to operate at their peak performance for more than 1000 hours per channel. Class A Valve/MOSFET hybrid tube desktop headphone amplifier Supports 30- 600 Ohm impedance headphones. Dual Mono Construction Delivers rich harmonics in single-ended topology. Western Electric Triodes Uses two Bell Lab/Western Electric 6AK5 valve tubes yields and produces excellent high-frequency performance. Smart Power Design Eliminates any 'Pop' sound when switching power on/off. Thus, no concern for pulse energy damage to your headphones. Compact and light-weight Easy handling size and small footprint. Portable. Photos: Advertisements without photos of the actual item will not be approved.

Happy to demo for serious buyers . The cheapest price at the moment is from China, $4,192.09 AUD (+ import duties), check link for specs and price: https://www.china-hifi-audio.com/en/yarland-hifi-tube-amp-c-61/yarland-auklet-845-class-a-single-end-integrated-tube-amplifier-psvane-845-2a3-p-1799?zenid=4804b33a6cd5887649aacf138d36d3aa 845 tubes are nearly new (less than 50 hours). 9. Item: Dared VP-845 Vacuum Tube Amplifier Location: Mid North Coast Price: $1500 + postage (firm) RRP $5500 Item Condition: very good Reason for selling: no longer required Payment Method: Bank deposit, Paypal (3%) Extra Info: I bought it from SNA member last month. The sound is really sweet when the tubes heated. I don't have original box but will box securely to post. Current tubes include: 2 x Haltron 6sn7gt (upgraded) 2 x Urimar ecc83 (upgraded) 2 x Golden Dragon 845B Specifications http://www.dared.com.au/#/vp-845le/ MAX OUTPUT POWER: 35W PER CHANNEL FREQUENCY RESPONSE: 20-20KHz (±1.5dB) DISTORTION: <1% SIGNAL TO NOISE RATIO: >84dB INPUT SENSITIVITY: 250mV INPUT IMPEDANCE: 100K ohm OUTPUT IMPEDANCE: 4 ohm/8 ohm TUBES: 845 x2, 6N8P (6SN7) x2, 12AX7 x2 BIAS: Automatic POWER SUPPLY: 240V/50Hz Dimensions: L550 x W260 x H330 mm Weight: 34.0Kg Please see 6moons review: Back to my very first question: Is this flagship integrated amp worth its massive weight in cash? Should you go with 845s or 300Bs? Allow me to stretch your imagination and use the Song Audio SA-1 dual-chassis preamp and SA-300MB 300B monoblocks (which you might have noticed in my tube room) as my reference point. The VP-845 is a very serious contender in one or two classes below the nearly 3 times as expensive Canadian kit which does everything in a more refined way. The Song Audio separates are the best of the best and I have to confess being tempted to own 'em. If you do not pride yourself as a perfectionist, you pay $5,900 less with the Dared VP-845 and merely sacrifice the top-most musical refinement that you probably wouldn't be prepared to pay for anyway. And in consolation, you get more power. That means you might not have to invest in another pair of high-efficiency speakers if you do not already have one. For $3,500, I don't think I could have gotten myself a sweeter deal than the VP-845. Link review: https://6moons.com/audioreviews/dared/845_2.html Photos:

  11. Item: VTL compact 100 monoblocks Location: blue mountains NSW Price: 1700 Item Condition: very very good ( mark on one transformer ) Reason for selling: i have vacillated about selling these amps for some time - pulled the plug on it a few times not thinking i could replace them with anything comparative for the money so may as well keep as spare amps . truth be known i couldnt but they are not getting used Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal( +4%),transfer. i have original VTL packaging so postage is fine. Extra Info: made by famous David Manley the compact 100s have a wide and deep sound - clear with heaps of tight grunt . they will drive most loads comfortably with plenty of headroom. they are heavy and very well built- industrial. one mono is running the original VTL 5ohm output transformer, but the other runs a good quality but non original 8 ohm transformer. i have listened to these extensively and there is no noticeable variation in sound quantity or quality between the amps - they are after all very very conservatively 100W . that being said they are priced fairly and accordingly . i have run them with tannoy 15" ardens , altec 19s and audiogramme celestions . auditions are most welcome . Mains voltage 230v 8ohm unit 4ohm - 12.6 volts - 39w 8ohm - 21.6 volts - 58w 16ohm - 30.5 volts - 58w 5ohm unit 4ohm - 16.5 volts - 68w 8ohm - 25.5 volts - 81w 16ohm - 30 volts - 56w these are australian 240V. 4 barely used X EL34 XF2s and 4X 6CA7 EIs are included. i have included specific photo of scratch on one transformer . all original packing is included and a VTL MB100 manual which shows biasing etc - same setup Pictures:

  13. Item: For sale is my much loved PrimaLuna Prologue Premium Integrated Amplifier with KT120, KT77 and EL34 Tubes. Location: Bayside (Melbourne) Price: $2,550 Item Condition: The amplifier is in excellent condition and has been meticulously looked after, there is one minor surface scratch on the tube cage, however this is not very noticeable. Reason for selling: NLR Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, COD Only Extra Info: Accompanying the amplifier are: Matched quads of power tubes Tung-Sol KT120, Genalex KT77, PrimaLuna El34 and PrimaLuna stock 12AU7’s for the gain and driver tubes. The amplifier was not used heavily and is easy on the tubes, so there will be plenty of life left in all the tubes. Slimline heavy duty remote control. There are many great reviews on the PrimaLuna Prologue Premium if you search around the Web. I am the original owner and purchased the amplifier new 2 years ago from Class A Audio. I have the box and packaging as well as the instruction manual and will consider couriering at the buyer’s risk where the buyer organises and provides confirmation of shipping insurance. I plan to sell the amplifier and tubes as a package and will not separate. Photos: Advertisements without photos of the actual item will not be approved.
