  1. Item: Townshend Maximum Supertweeter Location: Williamstown, Victoria Price: $650 + post Item Condition: Very good, almost new Reason for selling: Trying something different Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal Extra Info: In the same way that a sub-woofer extends the low end of your system, Maximum Supertweeters reveal a wealth of detail in the midband and treble. Most striking tough, is the amazing improvement in bass detail. Last one on SNAsold for $700 Comes with cables and instructions. http://www.townshendaudio.com/supertweeters/ https://www.stereophile.com/artdudleylistening/1104listening/#A3mFciLDZXvYAx7R.97 https://positive-feedback.com/Issue15/supertweeter.htm Donation to SNA once sold Pictures:
  2. Item: Townshend audio seismic sink 2 equipment platforms Location: Williamnstown, Victoria Price: SOLD pending receipt of funds $200 ea for the platforms that have spirit level, $170 for the platform without spirit level. $500 for the lot. Item Condition: Good Reason for selling: Trying something else Payment Method: Pickup - Cash Extra Info: VERY RARE ! I have 3 Townshend audio seismic sink platforms for sale. They are all steel and use an internal air bladder to support audio equipment on a bed of air - a very effective way to stop unwanted vibration from getting to your equipment. Perfect for pre-amps, DACs, cd players and amps. They each come with an air pump. 2 of the isolation platforms have four adjustable height feet and a small level bubble on the front of the top - you can level the platform while the equipment is on it as you can see the level at the front of the platform. It is very easy to use, has very high quality construction, and is very effective. The 3rd platform does not have a spirit level or adjustable feet. I've found them to be very effective and made on obvious improvement to the sound of my system - cleans up the sound, imaging is better, more solidity to instruments... I have attached some images from the internet - they look exactly like these. I'll upload images tonight. Happy to post (thats how I got them) but they are heavy! A donation to SNA will be made once sold. Pictures:
  3. Further information: These are a great addition to any system if you want that extra shimmer, air and wider soundstage. They are a great support to your existing speaker and start from 6Khz to 90Khz. They have a sensitivity adjustment at the back so you can make them louder or softer. They come with 1.5Metres of Townshend Original Cables with Banana termination. They are in a pristine condition and I would rank them 9/10. I have had them for the last 3 years, but now don't require them as I have a new ribbon tweeter that I am satisfied with. In the same way that a sub-woofer extends the low end of your system, Maximum Supertweeters reveal a wealth of detail in the midband and treble. Most striking tough, is the amazing improvement in bass detail. Maximum Supertweeters reproduce high and very high frequencies in the most coherent and realistic fashion, delivering a rich harmonic structure that dome tweeters simply cannot match. Coherent high frequencies affect the brain both physiologically and psychologically, revealing the full potential of your favourite recordings. Maximum Supertweeters enhance and define bass, mid and treble. They are the key to high resolution. 4. Further information: Was initially skeptical when added to my system, but ended up being a great addition! Was always curious to try given the rave reviews from other members. Perfect addition to any system if you are chasing a wider soundstage, more air or unlocking that extra detail. Surprising but welcome impact to bass, firmer and tighter bass. Lots of information online and much better described than the above! Few links: http://www.townshendaudio.com/supertweeters/ https://www.the-ear.net/review-hardware/townshend-maximum-supertweeter-supertweeters http://www.positive-feedback.com/Issue15/supertweeter.htm Would love to keep this in the system, however funds needed elsewhere. They come with the included 1.5m original Townshend cables with banana termination and original packaging. They are finished in chrome and in a great condition - please refer to the pictures. Able to ship safely at buyers expense. PayPal (fees extra) or cash. Photos:
  5. Further information: Like most Townshend gear the Maximum Super tweeters do not need much introduction. They do things in your system that you must hear to believe. In the same way that a sub-woofer extends the low end of your system, Maximum Supertweeters reveal a wealth of inner detail in the whole spectrum. The improvement in bass detail must be heard. We are talking structure and air in the bassline not whoomp whoomp. These are a great addition to any system if you want that extra shimmer, air and wider soundstage. They are a great enhancement to your existing speaker and start from 6Khz to 90Khz. They have a sensitivity knob on the back where you can fine tune adjustment so you can make them louder or softer to match your main speakers and the room. They come with 1.5Metres of Townshend Original Litz cables with banana termination. They are in a pristine condition and I would rank them 9/10. So shiny that they smudge unless you are wearing gloves. No box but can be packaged safely. The prices keep going higher each year (currently GBP1100) so grab yourself a pair of these while you can. Will consider reasonable offers and can drop off in Sydney metro. Also happy to part exchange for an SME 3012R tonearm or integrated valve amplifier such as Jadis, Yamamoto, Audionote, Pathos, Audio Tekne etc as indicated in my WTB ad. More information can be found at http://www.townshendaudio.com/supertweeters/
