  3. Further information: Please find for Sale my beautiful DAC from Chord Electronics. It a wonderful piece of Electronic Artwork, with a sound thats rich and sublime. This is a non smoking, pet free home. I'll leave the rest up to CHORD... "Chord Electronics has once again produced the world's most technically advanced DAC. Building on the huge success of the award winning DAC64, the QBD76 now takes D/A conversion to a new level of performance not available in any other product. In addition USB and digital Bluetooth inputs allow you to enjoy very high quality audio playback from anywhere your music happens to be stored. Instead of simply using the best off the shelf DAC chips, Chord actually designed their own using the newest Xilinx field programmable gate arrays. This state-of-the-art development platform provides Chord engineers with a staggering 1,250,000 logic gates with which to design their DAC. This level of capability was undreamt of only a few years ago. By comparison the best DAC chips available today use only 30,000 logic gates. Thus, with over 40 times the development power, Chord engineers were able to control every aspect of their DAC’s design and performance. As a result, the QBD76 is capable of resolving 40dB more data than DACs using the best off the shelf chips. This means the QBD76 can resolve more musical information than any DAC using even the best chips can. This remarkable innovation takes the QBD76 very near the theoretical limit for CD audio, and once again Chord emerges with technology literally years ahead of the competition. Specifications Type: Digital to analog converter (DAC) Harmonic Distortion: < -103dB at 1 kHz 24-bit at 44.1 kHz Signal To Noise ratio: > 120dB Channel Separation: > 125dB at 1kHz Dynamic Range: 122dB Digital Inputs: 2 x 75 Ohm S/PDIF BNC Coax 2 x AES Balanced XLR Input 2 x Plastic fiber optic (TosLink) 1 x USB (B type) 1 x Bluetooth supporting A2DP Stereo Audio RAM Buffer: Off, minimum (1 sec), maximum (4 secs) Phase Switch: Positive or negative output phase Sample Frequencies: 32 kHz to 96 kHz single cable 176.4 kHz and 192 kHz USB cable Maximum Output: 3V (unbalanced), 6V (balanced) Output Impedance: 75 Ohm Dimensions: 33.8cm x 6cm and 14.5cm Chassis Material: Solid aluminum available in silver Weight: 15.4 lbs (7kg)" Photos: Advertisements without photos of the actual item will not be approved.
  4. Extra Info: Priced for a quick sale, these are $10k new! Purchased these last year & been simply amazed by their refinement & the improvement they made in my system. Sad to say, they’re now just too short for my current setup. This is the reference loudspeaker cable from ETI Eichmann with this topping the 5 models in the range (Q Ref, Q3000, Q100, Q500, Q100). This worked perfectly with my Martin Logan Monolith/ME 850’s. It is a hybrid technology using both pure silver and copper: " The hand-wound 99.99% solid silver ground conductor uses what ETI calls ‘Ground Nulling Circuitry’ (GnC). Keith Eichmann’s research has produced a proprietary Ground Nulling Circuit (GnC™) which actively works to maintain a quiescent zero Voltage state across the ground, protecting the signal conductor from ground induced capacitance and inductance. This facilitates smooth uninterrupted signal flow from one component to another, effectively isolates them and allows them to perform their tasks without interference. With each higher model in the range, the GnC™ grows in size, complexity, and sophistication." There was a review in six moons of the lower model (Q100) in the range (http://6moons.com/audioreviews/eti/1.html "ETI cables present a very black background against which music emerged with ease, clarity and flow. There may be something to this ‘ground nulling circuitry’ biz. My cable collection seems to constantly proliferate so there were plenty of contenders for comparison purposes. The ETI cables shone for their utter transparency and strict neutrality. There were no embellishments nor imbalances that would reveal or expose certain frequency anomalies. Music just flowed unimpeded, unedited and unsoiled.” They have been advertised used when you can get them for $3k in Europe and North America. I am selling these for what I paid. I consider them very good buying at this price & I’ll probably regret selling in the future ... Photos: Advertisements without photos of the actual item will not be approved.

  6. Item: Analogue Domain Isis M75D MK2 Reference Integrated Amplifier Location: Perth Price: $22,000 ono (please feel free to make offers - I want to move this along) RRP is approx 40k AUD with Australia tax added. Item Condition: Excellent, barely run in. Reason for selling: Running dual monoblocs from a single source now Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, COD Only Extra Info: When I had a variety of inputs, Turntable, CD player, DAC, etc this was a killer solution - reference sound in a compact (albeit quite weighty) integrated amp. I am now in a position where I run everything through a single DAC and am running that straight into a pair of monoblocks so this beauty has to go. In short this is one of the best way to get Analog Domain sound for less than $100,000. Review here: https://www.monoandstereo.com/2017/04/analog-domain-m75d-mkii-integrated.html Photos:
