Bought to replace a Yamaha RX-V2600, and was so impressed I replaced most of my gear with Cambridge Audio gear over time. Very clean unit from a kid-free, pet-free home, in great condition for its age. Includes original remote (which has a broken battery cover - sticky tape holds it closed at one end, but should be easy fix/replace - and a small dent in the side - see pics). Doesn't affect remote operation in any way. includes printed manual. R -
This receiver is about 3 years old. It works flawlessly, it has been updated to the last version of the firmware. It is immaculate as the photos show. Further information: OK, this one hurts..... This was my first foray into hi-fi and has travelled with me for many years. It is just plain gorgeous to look at and sounds a treat. It has that warm Marantz sonic signature, but never laid back and boring. Offers 30w per channel with inputs for tape, phono and AUX. Bass, Treble AND Mid controls. Each control is nicely stepped, as is the volume control. The tuner section is excellent too - very sensitive and picks up stations with a strong signal. Wheel has a nice weight to it. AM antenna -
Hi all, a golden oldie here - Pioneer 50" PDP-507XDA with bottom mount speaker and stand, plus Pioneer VSX-AX2AS with remotes. The Plasma is Japanese made of course. Still works wonderfully and no problems with the picture, but we've unexpectedly adopted an OLED so time to move this on. It has an inbuilt digital tuner and looks great with Netflix, consoles, FTA, Foxtel etc. but is capped at 1080i so can be left a bit wanting for Blu-Ray. It'd be awesome as a second tele or in the pool room. We would not have upgraded if the OLED hadn't been offered - plenty of life in the old girl yet. -

Further information: This magnificent Sansui receiver came from the ANU school of music recording studio, where it was used to drive altec monitors.(note the sticker from Canberra institute of the arts- one of many names covering the school of music over the years) It works fine- as a pro use studio amp it was very well maintained. One curious feature is that the tuner is AM and Short Wave (MW ). They are photos of the actual receiver below. I am in Canberra and can post anywhere.
