  1. Item: PSB Imagine X1T Towers Location: Maribyrnong, VIC Price: $600 inc $10 to SNA Item Condition: 8/10 Reason for selling: No longer required Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal add 3% Extra Info: Bought new, these have been used as rear surrounds in my lounge room system. They are in perfect working order and sound great, but they do have a couple of marks which i have tried to highlight in the photos. Front ported, so good flexibility with regards to positioning in a room. These currently retail for $1999/pair and are a lot of speaker for that money. Unfortunately, I am downsizing the number of speakers in the family room back to a 3.1, so these have got to go. I have the boxes and all supplied accessories.
  2. 3. Item: PSB Imagine X1T Towers Location: Maribyrnong, VIC Price: $600 inc $10 SNA Contribution Item Condition: Very Good - 8/10 Reason for selling: No longer required Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal add 3% Extra Info: Bought new, these have been used as rear surrounds in my lounge room system. They are in perfect working order and sound great, but they do have a couple of marks which i have tried to highlight in the photos. Front ported, so good flexibility with regards to positioning in a room. These currently retail for $1999/pair and are a solid speaker for that money. Unfortunately, I am downsizing the number of speakers in the family room back to a 3.1, so these have got to go. I have the boxes and all supplied accessories.
  4. Purchased these to use in the office but unfortunately my associates do not share my interest in music and the speakers do not work so well as a studio type monitor at low volume. The Left and Right are model 300's and the center is a model 100C. All made in Canada. They are in average condition, cabinets have scratches, bumps and dents, particularly corners and edges. Drivers all appear to be fine. $20 Donation to SNA and they are yours. Pick up is from the Burnside area.
  5. Item: PSB Imagine X1T Towers Location: Maribyrnong, VIC Price: Price drop to $500 inc $10 SNA Contribution Item Condition: Very Good - 7.5 - 8/10 Reason for selling: No longer required/Taking Up Space Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal add 3% Extra Info: Bought new, these have been used as rear surrounds in my lounge room system. They are in perfect working order and sound great, but they do have a couple of marks which i have tried to highlight in the photos. Compared to the exceptionally well regarded Synchrony One speakers (which I use as mains), the Imagine X1T offer probably around 80 - 85% of the sound, albeit with a much more budget conscious finish. Front ported, they offer good flexibility with regards to positioning within the room. These currently retail for $1999/pair and are a solid speaker for that kind of money. These are now just taking up needless space at home and have got to go. Chuck em in your shed or garage or secondary room, wherever. Packed up in the original boxes with all supplied accessories, ready to go.
  6. Further information: As New Condition. Complete with the original box, receipt and warranty. Purchased locally from Digital Cinema at 26/06/2020 so the local warranty still have a long validity on them. As far as I can tell there is no local store that stocked this speaker as i think the PSB brand is not popular in Australia even though its predecessor the Alpha B1 was popular worldwide and so is this new Alpha P5 . So ended up having to do an order in on them, used it for a short time after which I went to a smaller sized speaker. Supposedly PSB have great synergy with NAD amplifiers since they belong under the same parent company. 7. Further information: Got a few nibbles before but item still available. As New Condition. Complete with the original box, receipt and warranty. Purchased locally from Digital Cinema at 26/06/2020 so the local warranty still have a long validity on them. Selling as I got a little crazy during lockdown and purchased 3 different budget speakers As far as I can tell there is no local store that stocked this speaker as i think the PSB brand is not popular in Australia even though its predecessor the Alpha B1 was popular worldwide and so is this new Alpha P5 . So ended up having to do an order in on them, used it for about 1 month after which I upgraded to a more expensive speaker. Not the best performing with a mini Class D Yamaha amp but it scales well with a higher performing amp such as the vintage Marantz tube pre/power combo on my mains setup. Supposedly this have great synergy with NAD amplifiers since they belong under the same parent company. Comparison against KEF LS50 (Taken from https://www.soundstagehifi.com/index.php/reference-components/1390-recommended-reference-component-psb-alpha-p5-loudspeakers) Further Reviews https://www.stereophile.com/content/psb-alpha-p5-loudspeaker https://www.theabsolutesound.com/articles/psb-alpha-p5-loudspeaker/ Photos:
  8. Further information: As New Condition. Only 3 months old purchased locally from Digital Cinema at 26/06/2020 so the local warranty still have a long validity on them. Not the best performing with a mini Yamaha amp but it scales well with a higher performing amp such as the vintage Marantz tube pre/power combo on my mains setup. Supposedly this have great synergy with NAD amplifiers since they belong under the same parent company but since i don't have a NAD amp I cant really tell. 9. Further information: For some reason this award winning speaker is not available for demo in Sydney retailers so i have to do a special order in from Digital Cinema recently (26/06/2020) so the condition is as new with the local 5yrs warranty still have a long validity left on them. The Walnut vinyl actually looked pretty good for its price with the only minor thing is the glue on the woofer surround is not as clean looking as i hope it would be but its fair considering this is a budget category item. I planned to use this as a desktop speaker with a Yamaha WXA-50 but i dont think it have good synergy with the amp and quite possibly my room as well. Performs much better with my vintage Marantz tube amps but i am looking for a desktop bookshelf and i don't have desktop space for a big pre and power tube amp setup. Supposedly it works well with NAD amps since they are owned by the same parent company. Pickup with social distancing is preferred but since i have the original box in theory shipping is also possible but at your own cost and risk since sometimes Auspost are not that delicate with their handling. 2019 Stereophile product of the year 2019 Soundstage network product of the year Details and specs can be found here https://www.psbspeakers.com/product/alpha-p5-bookshelf-speaker/ Reviews and comparisons https://www.stereophile.com/content/psb-alpha-p5-loudspeaker https://www.soundstagehifi.com/index.php/reference-components/1390-recommended-reference-component-psb-alpha-p5-loudspeakers https://www.hifichoice.com/content/psb-alpha-p5 Photos:

The superb construction quality, details, and fittings are also identical. The amazing thing about this speaker (Synchrony Two B) is that except for the lack of deep bass, it sonically mirrors the Synchrony One flagship. PSB hasn’t just paid a lot of lip service to the subject of timbre matching; they’ve achieved it.” Neil Gader, The Absolute Sound COMES WITH PSB'S 10 YEAR WARRANTY Pictures:

  19. Howdy Folks, Long time lurker, first time poster! moving into a new place shortly as pictured below, this will be the living room space i will have my HT setup. dimensions 5.8m long x 3.7m wide with open plan to kitchen and dining area behind camera. ideally i would like to have a 7.1.4 setup(sub woofer to come) in the room, this may however not be ideal or be possible given where the furniture will be placed(same as pictured) i would like opinions on how you would set this room up for greatest audio experience. biggest concerns are a. placement of side and rear surround ( i would like a good rear sound stage if possible O_O) b. best options for Atmos ceiling speaker placement options( speakers to be purchased ) Equipment Yamaha RX-A3070 receiver PSB Image 5.0 setup (Towers/Centre/bookshelf) + 2 x PSB bookshelf and C40 centre.
