  1. Item: Digital Camera mainly to be used by my son who is 6 years old Price Range: Up to $150 Item Condition: Used- good working order Extra Info: My son has been filling my mobile phone with photos. He is adamant that these photos should be kept. A budding artiste, it seems. I don’t want to discourage his interest in photography so I hope to buy a rugged digital camera pretty cheaply. I’ve looked on Gumtree and quite like the look of some of the Olympus, Canon and Panasonic offerings. Let me know if you have something which matches my description. Ideally I would like to pick up the camera from a member in Sydney but will consider paying for postage for a good camera. Thanks for looking!
  2. As a topic starter I would like to inform readers that - I am now overstimulated in the pursuit of finding a camera bag that suits me Many choices and styles are available - and it can make ones head spin So I will break down my preferences As an avid Cruising the Seas tragic with my better half - I see that as a lifetime pastime So I need a multi purpose and multi carry camera bag Help me find the ideal bag for me - or Should I design one ? List of what is ideal for me A bag that can fit a medium bit of kit - DSLR and a min of 3 lenses, iPad and nick nacks A bag that can be carried in 3 ways 1) Back Pack, Front Pack & Over the shoulder I will explain the reason - When Ocean cruising one is often in motion in and out of port Also in and out of tender boats and tour busses - The front pack is for this reason as one does not want to sit down and lean back on the gear For the back pack part of the equation - is for walking long distances with comfort The over the shoulder option is for the purpose of moving short distances or when stopping / starting / sitting ect Is my search in vain ?

  6. Item: AF-S VR Micro-Nikkor 105mm f/2.8G IF-ED Lens Location: Canberra Price: $675 Item Condition: 9/10 (perfect but for scuff marks on inside of lens hood from reversing hood for storage). Reason for selling: Getting money together for Bel Canto REFLink (also, have changed camera systems, so no longer used). Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, Bank Transfer Extra Info: The AF-S VR Micro-Nikkor 105mm f/2.8G IF-ED is a pro quality macro lens and one of the best lenses I've ever used. It's better, for instance, than the Zeiss lenses I'm currently using on my NEX7. Apart from being a wonderful Macro lens, it is also a brilliant portrait lens and has wonderful bokeh. The lens is in pretty much perfect condition and I have all original packaging, manuals, etc. It is internally focussing and has Vibration Reduction. It's a full frame lens, but will work fine on crop frame cameras. Included is the lens hood, and a soft lens case, as well as front and rear caps. The current retail is $1249.00.
