  1. Further information: This is the latest version and one of the first in the country. It is less then 2 months old. One thing I have learnt is that it doesn’t matter how good your arm TT or cartridge is, if you’re phono stage isn’t up to the task you are wasting money and forever chopping and changing. This was already a great phono stage but this version has a much more natural and warm presentation. It bested my valve phono stages by a considerable amount. It has XLR out too! I am actually really reluctant to sell this out of all the items I listed. It can get the most out of ANY cartridge hooked up to it. I have all boxes etc. https://sonicpurity.com.au/store/phono-stages/rcm-sensor-2-mkii Photos:
  2. Further information: Bought on the forum a couple of years ago. Upgraded so no longer required. Photos:
  3. Further information: MM and MC phono stage in very good condition. Hasn’t been used for a few years as I had upgraded to integrated amplifier with phonostage. Selling as part of lockdown clear out of storage unit. Power supply, cables and original packaging included. Manual is missing, available for download from here, https://whestaudio.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/whestTWO-Mk1.pdf. NB. This is an early model and the dip switches to change load are internal and you need to remove front panel and body cover to access. Allen key is included. See photo, unit still has protective plastic on the top cover from when purchased. For review see, http://www.stereomojo.com/WhestTWOPhonoStageReview.htm/WhestTWOPhonoStageReview.htm https://www.audaud.com/whest-two-phonostage/ Photos: Advertisements without photos of the actual item will not be approved.
  4. Further information: I bought it new from a local reputation dealer in 2014. It has been an excellent phono stage and still looks like new. reviews: https://positive-feedback.com/Issue58/microgroove.htm Photos: as attached
  5. Further information: This preamp sounds great when used with turntable (MM only) and connected directly to power amp. It also can be used to soften signal from digital sources while going through valves. I tried using it as phone stage only connecting through to another preamp but found it had insufficient gain. This is consistent with reviews and there is plenty of info and suggestions on this forum how to have it modified to get the best performance. Beautiful worm sound very hard to beat in this price range. The unit on offer is in original condition with original tubes and nothing has been tempered with. Original box, cables and manual is also included. Local pickup is preferred but if you want it shipped it will be at your cost and you need to arrange your courier to have it collected. I will have is double boxed and secured for the journey. Photos: Advertisements without photos of the actual item will not be approved.
  6. Further information: I can't say too much about these phono stage items because I have never actually used them. At the same time, there seems to be plenty of knowledge available via previous SNA postings for the same pieces. I bought them in as new condition, a couple of years ago, with a pre-amp that did not have a phono stage. However I don't use my turntable that often and didn't for a period, then upgraded to another pre-amp with a built in phono stage, so never actually required. As per photos, I have the original packaging so can post anywhere at buyer's expense. Photos: Advertisements without photos of the actual item will not be approved.
  7. Further information: Great at this price- requires no introduction and plenty of information available on StereoNet and internet. Suitable for both MM and MC cartridges. In perfect condition but does not have original packaging. If shipping is required, will ensure proper packaging. Comes with interconnect and power cable. Any postage cost in addition to listed price. Photos: Advertisements without photos of the actual item will not be approved.
  8. Further information: Priced reduced from $2,800 to $2,600 For sale is my beloved Plinius 9200 in absolute mint condition. It was purchased new by me in 2011 and have been sparingly used especially in the last few years as a second system and has never failed to impress. Had every intention to continue keeping this - until a recent decision to upgrade to active speakers means it's time to consolidate my hifi system. Also comes with original double boxes, remote control, final test cert, & even the plinius white gloves. This is a stunning amp with plenty of power, finesse and dynamics and has a really nice phono stage. It has a power rating of over 200 watts per channel into 8 ohms. Per Plinius the 9200 operates in high bias class A/B however it has been designed to preserve as much of the class A sound as possible. It's well built like a tank and to last. Any questions please don't hesitate to reach out. 9. Item: PS Audio GCPH Phono Stage Location: Blue Mountains NSW - can post Price: $700 Item Condition: Very Good (minor marks consistent with age) Reason for selling: NLR Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, COD Only Extra Info: For sale is the excellent and versatile PS Audio GCPH phono stage. I have owned this for around six years and it has performed flawlessly. Moving it on after acquiring a new phono stage up the chain, which has demonstrated just how good these units are. The GCPH is in the 'easy to use' category of phono stages, ie. the switches are all on the outside of the box making it reasonably straight forward to make adjustments. On the front is a mono / stereo switch, phase option and a volume control. Gain and loading are accessed at the rear of the unit. Gain options include: 48/54/60/66dB and loading options are: 100 / 500 / 1k / 47k. There is also the choice between RCA or balanced outputs. A remote control (never used) is included and can be plugged directly into a power amp, and with the volume adjustment the unit can be used as a preamplifier. The GCPH has a loyal following, and they don't come up for sale too often. There are plenty of positive reviews about the unit and forum chatter. I have the original packaging which includes the manual and remote. Happy to post at buyer's cost. Photos:

Location: Perth WA Price: New $6995 retail. no use since bought NOW only $2995 Item Condition: 100% working and looks as new with tiniest mark on rear / back of top plate. 99 out of 100, lovely product. Reason for selling: too many phonos so one to two have to go I will list my PS audio too soon. Selling a lot of excess gear so will have a few listings this week. Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, COD Only CAN POST OR ORGANISE FREGHT ETC Extra Info: I bought this beauty few months ago from an SNA member who bought it from Sydney authorised Audio Research dealer as a store demo unit, so it is still should be under Australia warranty, ( will need to check with paperwork in Box) condition is as new except one small mark as shown in the photo, you can't really tell unless looking for it. It works really well with Shelter 901 MC (0.5mv), Lyra Delos MC (0.6mv), Nagaoka MP500 MM (3mv), those are carts I have (had), I believe it would be the best match with MC from 0.5mv to MM (3mv), my finding seems to be inline with reviews on the web. It hasn't get much use as I have other toys, it's from smoke and pet free home, I have the original box so shipping is not a issue. These were the last owners comments and I personally used for about 20 hours with a clearaudio concerto wood and it was divine bringing my VPI to life. A lovely piece of kit and I am putting up for sale 3 phonos and 2 will go just accumulating too much gear. It's not short of good reviews on the web, happy to answer what I know. Please send PM if interested. https://www.theaudiobeat.com/equipment/audio_research_ph6.htm e audiophiles often wonder why a certain company replaces a very good piece of equipment. Oftentimes it can be as simple as wanting to freshen up in the product line. Audio Research released the PH6, however, because it betters in every way the model it replaces. It is simply a cleaner window between you and your music and, I'll go out on a limb, the phono stage to beat in its price range. Its sterling sound quality together with its excellent build quality, Audio Research’s reputation and the knowledge that they’ll be around to care for the product well into the future means that purchasing a PH6 can be one of the best investments in your musical life you can make https://www.tonepublications.com/review/audio-research-ph-6-phono-preamplifier/ A Worthy Successor The PH 6 is an excellent phono preamplifier, offering excellent sonic performance, build quality, and value. In comparison to other phono preamplifiers, both models costing considerably more and less, its price is spot on. The PH 6 also stood up well when compared to ARC’s top-of-the-line REF Phono 2; the lineage is immediately evident. The only potential limitation of the PH 6 may be related to the 58 db gain figure when combined with a handful of very low-output cartridges below .4mv. However, considering the range of excellent cartridges above that figure, finding something you like should not prove difficult. When going from regular, to large, to super size (PH 6, PH7, REF Phono 2), the listener will find the tonal qualities to be very similar, each increasing model offering more dynamic range, and more low level detail and increased resolution, along with increased functionality. Taking these points into consideration, it’s easy to see why ARC continues to enjoy such a loyal customer base. So whether you are a new customer or legacy customer waiting to trade up, you will enjoy the PH 6. - Jeff Dorgay
