  2. Item: Sennheiser Momentum Wireless Black Art no. 506250 M2 AEBT Location: Melbourne, 3068 Price: $220 (includes donation to StereoNET) plus postage Item Condition: Excellent condition only a handful of hours use and have spent the rest of their time in the soft case, I can't find a mark on them. Reason for selling: Can't turn off the active noise cancelling Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal (buyer pays fees), Bank Transfer Extra Info: This pair is the over-ear model For sale is a pair of Sennheiser Momentum Wireless headphones purchased June last year from Addicted to Audio here in Melbourne. They sound great the only reason they didn't become my go to wireless cans is that for some people active noise cancelling (ANC) can be sensed as pressure on the ear and I perceive this. The ANC cannot be disabled. In all other respects they live up to the Sennheiser sound and quality and any buyer happy with ANC will find these superb. It is time they were used again. https://en-au.sennheiser.com/momentum-wireless Questions welcome. Cheers, Nick Pictures:

  5. B&W have released their new PX headphones. http://www.bowers-wilkins.net/Headphones/Wireless-Headphones/Wireless-Headphones/px-headphones.html The reviews say they have really good sound and reasonably good noise cancellation, second only to the Bose QC35. I was wondering if anyone has tried these yet, and have more information. I know most reviews are not exactly reliable. Thanks, AP

  11. Pros: Nice aesthetics, cheap for an ANC, plenty of bass Cons: too heavy, sweaty, strong clamp, expensive for what it is, ANC feature doesn't work very well I'm a production manager, and focus mainly on live sound engineering and lighting operation. I install and tune P.A equipment, and also mix live acts in : - live venues, - concert halls, - bars, - nightclubs - festivals I've taken a huge liking to headphones, and IEM's in particular. I like the idea of having my own personal PA system, that I can take with me anywhere. Especially with Rockbox being in such advanced stages, and such great low-impedance portable amps coming out, you can really seem to get any sound signature you wish out of a portable rig. Couldn't find much on the internet about these, so I took the plunge. Pros: Nice aesthetics Solid build quality Cheaper than Bose equivalent, looks and feels nicer, has a bassier signature. Great packaging and accessories Nice cables, feel durable Cons: Heavy Pads are not comfortable, will make you sweaty before too long Pads sit "on" the ear, are not true over-ear headphones Whilst cheap for an ANC headphone, still too expensive for what they are The noise cancelling seems to do very little I have a feeling the wood panelling is actually fake, I was able to bend and peel it with ease Far, far, far too much bass Hollow, lifeless mids Dimmed, strange highs ANC feature crushes dynamic range, and raises the noise floor to an audible level Same Micro USB port for both charging and listening - you can not use these whilst charging. I just returned these to the store for a full refund. I wouldn't recommend anyone purchase these, unless they are very into the aesthetics.
